Video: Nexus 4 Cases – Ringke Fusion and Slim, Spigen Ultra Thin Air, and Official Bumper

This morning, we took a quick look at the new Ringke Fusion case for the Nexus 4 from Rearth. It’s called “fusion” because it fuses together a clear PC back plate and a TPU bumper to give the Nexus 4 protection while allowing the beautiful Crystal Reflection backside to continue to shine through. That post left readers with plenty of questions, most of which had to do with how it compared to other popular cases like the Ringke Slim, Spigen Ultra Thin Air, and the official N4 Bumper.

To help answer some of those, we put together this quick video.  (more…)

Quick Look: Spigen Ultra Thin Air Case for Galaxy Note 2

Galaxy Note 2 Spigen Ultra Thin Air Case

On Friday, I took a look at the new Ultra Thin Air case for the Nexus 4 from Spigen. As I mentioned in that post, these Ultra Thin Air cases have long been some of my favorites because of their minimal approach to what a case should be. With a phone like the Galaxy Note 2, a lack of bulk in a case becomes even more important since the device is already so oversized. With its 5.5″ display, the last thing you want to do to a Note 2 is add on weight and size – the Ultra Thin Air from Spigen does neither.  (more…)

Nexus 4 Case Spigen Ultra Thin Air

The Ultra Thin Air case that Spigen SGP creates for almost all of the newly released flagship phones has always been one of my favorites. As someone who favors minimal cases that don’t add extra bulk, this is one of the two that I always turn to (Rearth’s Ringke SLIM being the other) for testing. Now that their Nexus 4 Ultra Thin Air is available in black, I thought we’d take a quick look at it, since many of you seem to be fans of the minimal case as well.  (more…)

Contest: Win 1 of 6 Spigen Galaxy Note 2 Cases or Aluminum Home Button Covers (Update: Winners Picked)

Just because we are giving away a sh*tload of tablets over the next couple of weeks, doesn’t mean we don’t have other goodies to hand out to the DL community. Up next, we have a set of leather Folio cases and some aluminum home button covers for the Galaxy Note 2 from our friends at Spigen SGP.

The Folio case is made of faux leather, has cutouts in all the right places, a flip cover with pocket for cards or other goodies, and comes in three colors (pink, grey, and blue). These cases normally run $45. The aluminum home buttons are for the Verizon Note 2 owners in the building that can’t stand the branding that Big Red decided to plaster all over it. They normally run $10 and come in packs of three (silver, black, and pink).

Who wants ’em?  (more…)
