When you think of Sonic, running across a horizontal landscape as fast as he can, grabbing as many coins as he can carry should probably come to mind. After all, that is what Sonic is all about. Here at DL, we go through a lot of games and apps, but usually, there are only a few that shine brighter than others. This could be because the graphics are great, the controls are perfect, or the music is totally righteous. Whatever the case may be, we wanted to compile a short list each month that covers our top five favorite games for that month.
The games are playable on pretty much any Android device, so if you feel like trying any of them out, you can follow the Google Play links to pick them up yourselves.

SEGA launched a new title to Google Play this morning, Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing. It’s your classic kart racing title, full of all of your favorite Sonic characters. So far, it really reminds me of Crash Nitro Kart and of course, Mario Kart. There are 16 different tracks to race on, with unique challenges on each to help score you more coins. (more…)
Has it really been 23 years? Well, considering I was almost two years old at that time, Sonic the Hedgehog has been a part of my life for as long as I can literally remember. He was practically my babysitter, as I recall sitting at home with my older brother’s SEGA Genesis, just trying to make it past the second world. That game was hard back in the day!
