This morning, the Slacker Radio team released a major update for their Android app to version 4.0. Inside, you won’t find too many new features, but what you will find is a complete user interface redesign. It’s full of whites and blue, which is much different than the dark UI it was previously. If you ask me, it gives off a Windows phone vibe with the tiles that we see on the homepage. 

Slacker Radio announced this morning that they will broadcast all 67 NCAA basketball tournament games over the next month. So for those of you that can’t part from work or find a TV during the greatest sports month of the year, you can at least tune in and listen to the play-by-play broadcast of each game from anywhere.

All you need to do is download the app or update to the latest version and Madness will ensue. Oh, and be sure to join our NCAA Tourney Challenge for a chance to win a limited edition DL hoodie and $100.

The Sonos Controller app for Android found itself a much needed update this morning, bringing it to version 3.6. Included in the update is support for more tablets like the Kindle Fire, more Spotify features (new releases and top tracks), and the addition of Slacker Radio to its music services.

If you own any of their HiFi speaker systems, be sure to update the software on all of your portable devices, but on your PC and Macs as well.
