Sonic Jump Fever Announced for This Summer, Takes the Classic Game and Turns It 90 Degrees

SEGA’s Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Launches on Google Play, Priced at $4.99

The second rendition of SEGA’s Sonic All-Stars Racing hit Google Play last night, titled All-Stars Racing Transformed. The game costs $4.99 through Google Play, quite the price tag for a kart racer. The game is much like the original Sonic Racing title for Android, as you can play many of your favorite characters throughout many different levels. Better yet, SEGA states that in a future update, an “ultimate multiplayer” experience will launch, which should definitely give you your money’s worth. (more…)

SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Spins Onto Google Play, Costs $2.99

I grew up playing the original Sonic the Hedgehog game on my older brother’s SEGA Genesis 16-bit, and with SEGA re-releasing all of these great titles like Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Android, I feel like a kid again. Being completely optimized for mobile devices (no janky ports here), the gameplay is smooth and old school Sonic has never looked so good. On top of excellent feeling controls, SEGA also added in a secret bonus level for anyone who likes investigating through worlds a bit.  (more…)

SEGA’s Sonic Dash Now Available on Google Play

The official Sonic Dash, published by SEGA America, is finally available on Android. It’s been making the iOS rounds for a bit, but we finally got it. Sonic Dash is pretty easy to explain – just picture Temple Run being played with a character that isn’t boring. In this title, you whizz around massive levels filled with coins you must gobble up, but watch out for those baddies. You go through loops, hit power ups, jump, duck, swerve, fight boss characters, and pretty much all of your other classic Sonic controls.  (more…)
