This morning, the great Angry Birds title of all time, Angry Birds Star Wars, was updated to feature the new Cloud City episode with twenty new levels. As a cherry on top, Rovio also included new Boba Fett missions which can be unlocked by finding hidden rocket pads or by purchasing them via in-app purchase. To see the full changelog, check below. Rovio teamed up with DreamWorks to create a game for the movie, The Croods, which is now live on Google Play. In the game, you play as the world’s first “modern” family, hunting and gathering to survive through different landscapes. As you rank up, you can customize your characters with “caveman accessories” and other little add-ons. (more…)
Here comes another game from Rovio. The development team partnered up with DreamWorks for a game based off of an upcoming movie title, centered around the world’s first family, The Croods. In the game, this family will go through collecting and gathering whatever it is they need to survive and evolve.
It is set to hit stores March 14, so we’ll make sure to throw out a reminder once it’s live.
Today, you can go grab the HD versions of three big titles from Rovio, including Angry Birds Star Wars, Angry Birds Space, and Amazing Alex. With HD, you will notice a few more details here and there in terms of looks and overall aesthetics of the gameplay. No telling how long the sale will last, so if you have to buy these games, I guess now would be the time.
Anyone loving the new levels on Star Wars?
For a limited time, Rovio is hosting a special deal on their HD titles through Google Play, iTunes, PC, and the Amazon Appstore. From what I saw on Google Play, all four of the HD games listed below are only $1, which is pretty killer. Only a buck for HD Angry Birds Star Wars? Yes, please!

Well, Rovio just announced that it will be arriving tomorrow as a free update on Google Play! In true form, they also released a video to pump up the launch which you can view below. (more…)

I’ve played through a few of the levels already and I have to say, I am happy. The soundtrack is exactly what I was hoping for. There are plenty of lightsaber “woosh” sounds and the overall look of the game pays mighty homage to the series that I love so very much. Now the only problem is how do I convince Kellex that I’m sick and watch the movies instead of work? (more…)
