NVIDIA Hints At Possible 3D-Esque Version of Rovio’s Angry Birds?

According to NVIDIA’s VP of Mobile Content, Rovio may be looking into ways of making Angry Birds more visually complex for users. Speaking at the Mobile Game Forum, Mr. Trevett was quoted as saying, ”Let’s just say Angry Birds can do a lot more. There’s lots of things Rovio could do in terms of particle effects or volcanoes exploding in the background.”

In no way did he come out and say 3D Angry Birds, but he did mention that there was no reason Rovio could not move into using 3D physics engines for the creation of their games. So should we all keep our ears perked for a possible 3D Angry Birds? I would play it.

Halloween Angry Birds Edition Is On The Way, With Surprise Guest Appearance?

Rovio is about to release a spooky addition to the Angry Birds franchise just in time for ghoul-filled holiday. We see a few birdies dressed up in costumes and then they stumble upon a bucket filled with candy(?) There is minor speculation (I stress minor) that it could be none other than Om Nom, the beloved creature from Cut The Rope inside the bucket.

Can’t get enough Angry Birds? Today, Rovio just pumped out an update on the Android Market for the original Angry Birds app. Nothing too crazy, but you get 15 new Mine and Dine levels. That should tie you over for a bit. Is it a problem that whenever I think about the Mine and Dine levels it makes me want to play Minecraft? Everyone here still down with word being that of the bird? Have fun!
