On Monday, we posted up Volume 39 of the Droid Life Q&A Sessions, looking directly at you to submit questions. As always, you didn’t disappoint. We received tons of a great questions, ranging in multiple subjects. We were asked about the Nexus 6P, our current thoughts on Android N, which fitness devices we love, and even our predictions for the Portland Trail Blazers.
With Google I/O coming up and Motorola probably launching a device or two, 2016 is about to heat up. Much like you, we are looking forward to it. Fingers crossed for a blazin’ rest of the year.
Take a look at our answers below. (more…)
We are back again for another round of the DL Q&A Sessions, this time for Volume 39. The Q&A Sessions is your chance to ask the DL staff whatever you would like, whether it is Android-related or any other topic. To get your brain juices flowing, we could discuss our latest round of device reviews, what has us excited for Google I/O next month, or even talk about sports. We love sports. It’s entirely up to you.
These posts are also a very good time to chat with us in the comments, as we read every single comment that comes in. If you have post suggestions or maybe want to rage at us for how much we are paid by every company to post positive things (sarcasm), now would be the time. (more…)
We have gathered up your questions from this past week, and are now ready to share our answers with you. This week, many questions focused on the modular state of affairs taking place in the smartphone industry, with a few of you questioning if modular phones are just a gimmick. Other questions focused on how good Project Fi is (now that it’s invite free), and we even got asked who would win a fight between Batman and Superman.
There were a ton of questions, so we did our best to focus efforts on the ones we could handle in a timely manner.
Now, onto the questions! (more…)
We have a Galaxy S7 in-house, Galaxy S7 Edge should arrive any day, and we’ve gotten a few good looks at the HTC 10. With all of that, there’s so much to talk about. The DL Q&A Sessions are your chance to ask us anything that might be on your mind, whether it’s Android related, or anything else entirely.
For those contemplating a Galaxy S7 purchase, you can ask us anything about that device, or maybe you want to look ahead at what to expect from HTC and LG. We still have a bit before G5 pre-orders go up, but we have handled the device and can tell you a few things if you want to know. We could even talk Google I/O. Registration is right around the corner, after all.
This Friday, we will go through your questions and do our best to answer as many as we can.
To see all of our previous Q&A’s, check them out here.
We are back with our answers for Volume 37 of the DL Q&A Sessions. Earlier this week, we asked you to send in questions before this weekend’s MWC, and you didn’t disappoint. We received great questions about Moto’s future under Lenovo, and which OEM design department we would want to consult for.
Beyond tech, we talk basketball Finals predictions, Kanye’s latest album, and which non-tech related bet we would make if given the opportunity. As mentioned, MWC is only a couple of days away, so be on the lookout for yet another Q&A Session once we have had enough time to soak everything in from LG and Samsung over the next week.
Without further ado, let’s get to it. (more…)
We are opening up Volume 37 of the DL Q&A Sessions, on the eve of MWC 2016. With many things in store, this will be your last chance to ask us whatever you may want to know about what we can expect from Samsung, LG, Sony, and maybe HTC. Thankfully, there has been no shortage of intel on both the LG G5 and Galaxy S7, so really, all we’re waiting for are both companies to make the official announcements this upcoming Sunday. (more…)
I would likely be shocked to see just how much I have spent inside of Google Play, whether it is on apps, games, movies, or whatever, but I’m sure the amount is quite substantial. You can head into Google Play and check out all of your recent activity, however, you would have to do the math yourself and add up all of your expenses to come to a total. Who has time for that nonsense? Instead, we want to know what your last app purchase was. Was it a standalone utility app? Game? Maybe even a $0.99 in-app purchase?
As for me, the last app I purchased was the Chrooma Keyboard. So far, I love it. I asked Kellen what app was his last purchase, and his was also Chrooma. I guess that means you should go check that keyboard out.
Tell us down below, what was the last app you purchased?
As we stated on Monday, we skipped answers for Volume 35 of the Q&A Sessions due to the holidays, but now we are back, bringing you answers to both Volume 35 and Volume 36. Needless to say, there are a ton of answers for you below. Topics this week include Nexus devices in 2016, speculation on the Moto 360 (3rd Gen), Super Bowl 50 predictions, talk about Star Wars, and if HTC will even make it past 2016.
We read through all of your questions from the past couple of weeks, so take a look below and see if your question was answered. (more…)
