Plex announced this week that an increased price for a subscription to their Plex Pass service would be implemented, but if you are already signed up, don’t worry about your current price changing. However, if you sign up on or after September 29, be prepared for a slight increase in monthly and annual fees, plus an insanely large jump in price for a lifetime membership fee. (more…)
Users of the media server service Plex will be excited to hear about the latest update to the Android application, which went live on Google Play today. Starting with the update, if you are a Plex Pass user, you will now have the option to automatically upload any photos taken by your camera to your server.
Automatic Camera Uploads are nothing new to anyone with a Google+ account, but this new update allows Plex users to do the same, and keep them on their own personal media server. (more…)
Chromecast doesn’t seem to have only Android fanboys excited anymore, as online content publishers appear to also be jumping on board with the possibilities the device brings.
