While we still expect to see the HTC One arrive sometime before the end of this month, that apparently can’t stop RadioShack from the start of their hypebeasting. While in a store, a customer snapped a picture of some One signage, showing off its killer features like HTC Zoe, BoomSound and BlinkFeed. 

More importantly, it looks as if once the One finally does go on sale, RadioShack will offer a $50 Google Play gift card if you purchase the device on a new two year agreement. Plus, you will get a $10 coupon off of the $199 contract price. Not bad at all.

While HTC might see record pre-order numbers for this device, it is going to be an uphill battle against the Galaxy S4 in retailers.

RadioShack Posts HTC One Signage, Tosses in $50 Google Play Credit When You Sign a New Two Year is a post from: Droid Life

A developer on XDA has been hard at work, porting HTC’s newest Sense 5 software to the DROID DNA. Currently, it has some bugs that need working out, but nothing that makes it unusable. For instance, if you had big hopes for HTC Zoe on your DROID, that is currently unavailable. But no worries, the developer is plugging away on fixes. 

Beyond bugs, you will have access to that brand new BlinkFeed that HTC introduced, Android 4.1.2, and a Beastmode kernel. Before anyone asks, yes you must be rooted and running a custom recovery in order to flash this zip file.

You can see a preview of this ROM below, although I will have to warn you that the camera work is awful.

Developer Ports Sense 5 ROM to DROID DNA, BlinkFeed in All of Its Glory is a post from: Droid Life

One of the cooler announcements to come out of HTC’s launch of the One was their new Zoe software that works hand-in-hand with the phone’s camera. When turned on, the One takes photos and video surrounding the snapshot and puts them all together in a collage called a Highlight to give you a more in-depth picture of what was going on at the time you took the photo. The One isn’t here yet, but HTC already has a few people putting up Zoes to their new website. 

Whether it be vacations, trips to local markets or birthdays, Zoe takes all the media and mashes it together into a Highlight to make an instant presentation piece. At the end of the slideshow all the media is presented so that you can examine each one and look through them, it’s a very cool experience overall. The HTC One has a ton of new features to go over, but the camera and its software will be one of the highlights that many are going to be looking at. In this video, Kellex gives us a brief overview of the “UltraPixel” shooter and the new feature, HTC Zoe. Zoe allows for your take quick snippets of video and pictures, kind of like Vine.
