Here at DL, we go through a lot of games and apps, but usually, there are only a few that shine brighter than others. This could be because the graphics are great, the controls are perfect, or the music is totally righteous. Whatever the case may be, we wanted to compile a short list each month that covers our top five favorite games for that month.
The games are playable on pretty much any Android device, so if you feel like trying any of them out, you can follow the Google Play links to pick them up yourselves.
Here are the top five games we haven’t been able to put down this month. (more…)
The time has come, my friends. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is now live for Android, running you $6.99 through Google Play. But buyer beware, as many players who are leaving reviews state that they are experiencing download issues with the game. We can’t say we are shocked, as every other release from Rockstar has been plagued before with release hiccups. Either way, lots of players are having no issues at all, so go grab it. (more…)
We received great news this morning, as Rockstar Games announced that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas would be making its way to Android in the next month. The game has apparently undergone a complete overhaul, with Rockstar’s developers adding in dynamic and detailed shadows, optimizations for touchscreen devices, and an enriched color palette. If they include the same optimizations they went through for Vice City, then we should be in for quite a treat. (more…)
Starting today and ending July 30, pick up all three of Rockstar’s official Android titles on sale through Google Play. Vice City is listed at just $2.99, GTA3 is going for the same price and Max Payne is just $1.99. The GTA titles are usually listed around $5, so if you have been waiting for a sale, now is the time. For a very limited time, go pick up Grand Theft Auto: Vice City for just $1.99. If you have followed Rockstar and their titles on Google Play, you would know how often times rare it is to see these apps go on sale. In fact, I don’t know if I have ever seen Vice City on sale since it’s been released. (more…)
Since Google isn’t making it easy on us and putting all of the app sales in one place through Google Play, we figured we should do it for you. There are some sweet deals going on with games from Rockstar, EA Games, and a few other big names. Grand Theft Auto for 99 cents, anyone? (more…)
Finally! It’s back! After almost a week’s worth of delay, Rockstar has republished Grand Theft Auto Vice City to Google Play. Last week, Android users ran into some technical difficulties with the title, but it looks like R* has been able to clear that up.
The game is listed as $5, even though I think we deserve a couple days of 50% off. Oh well, we have Google Play Christmas sales coming up anyways.

Cheers Ryan and Shayne!
Well, this will be just a quick update on the failed launch of Grand Theft Auto Vice City for Android. This morning, the game went live on Google Play, got downloaded by a few hundred people, then taken down due to some validating errors with the APK. It sucks, but these things happen. Rockstar issued an apology on their blog and have said that we can expect another release for the end of next week.
Hey guys, due to unforeseen technical issues, the Android release of Vice City will be slightly delayed. Our goal is to get this out for Android by the end of next week. Our apologies for the delay to all our fans on Android devices and please stay tuned for updates.
In other news, the iOS version works great!
