Motorola DROID CommandOne Bluetooth Headset Available Now?

by: | posted 04.14.11 | Accessories, News

We’re still trying to wrap our heads around the idea of a DROID-branded Bluetooth headset, but after seeing the little case that comes with this CommandOne version, we’re loving the idea.  Well, except for that $129.99 price tag.  But seriously, jump past the break and see the DROID-styled case that you can put your cute little Bluetooth ear piece in for maximum DROID protection.  Can someone just send me the case?

And if you buy one, please put that case to use when you aren’t driving.  Do not, I repeat, DO NOT wear your CommandOne into the grocery store, gym, or other public arena; it just looks…just don’t be that guy.

Apparently you grab one now if your local Verizon store has them on the shelves.

If you aren’t moving enough CommandOne bluetooth headsets, what would be the best way to turn that around?  Slap the “DROID” tag on it of course.  Actually, I have no idea if that’s the case here, but to my knowledge, this is the first time we’ve seen Motorola use the DROID brand on a headset like this.  And it looks like they’ve even given it some special voice prompts and a snazzy little case.  Ahh, the power of DROID.

On Monday we reviewed the Command One bluetooth headset and then followed it up with a contest to give 2 of them away to reward our amazing Droid Life community members for all their awesomeness.  Each Command One headset is valued at $129, so as you can imagine, they garnered quite a bit of attention.  In fact, we had well over 1,000 entries to the contest in less than 2 days which is remarkable and can’t thank you enough for all the support.

And with that said, the winners are…

Earlier today we walked through a review of the Command One bluetooth headset from Motorola and are now ready to  give 2 of them away ($129 value each)!  This device is clearly one of the leaders in bluetooth technology, especially when you throw in the MotoSpeak app that allows you to listen to your text without touching a button.  It also lets you stream music from your device, gives you at least 3.5 hours of talk time, and has all of the great voice activated commands you’ve grown accustomed to.  Who wants one?

Here is how you enter…

Review: Command One Bluetooth Headset by Motorola

I have to admit that when I first received a Command One bluetooth headset, I was really more interested in the idea that I could give one away to readers than actually reviewing it.  And then I pulled it out of its cute little package, charged it, and used it.  Talk about a solid bluetooth, and one that is easily the best I’ve ever used.  While I haven’t used a ton because I refuse to be “that guy” with the ear piece in, cruising the grocery store, the Command One definitely impressed me.
