Who is ready for a contest? Thanks to our friends at Cruzerlite, we have 10 of their Bugdroid Circuit TPU cases to hand out to 10 lucky DL readers. They supplied us with a handful for the Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2 (cult!), and even the Nexus 4, so this contest should cover the majority of you.

For those not familiar with Cruzerlite cases, they tend to be made of TPU (a pliable plastic), are easy to get on or off of your device (still offer a snug fit), provide ample protection from drops, and contain all of the cutouts needed for your phone to continue to function.

Cruzerlite has pumped out some of the more Android-friendly cases over the last couple of years, with this design being the perfect example. Be sure to check out the rest of their lineup in case the Circuit isn’t meeting your needs. They also offer up Android accessories, like plushies, beanies, and more – a one-stop shop for enthusiasts.

Fanboys, let’s do this!

Last night on Google+, Android engineer Dan Morrill shared the four colorful little robotic creatures that I have included in this post, along with their backstory. The short form of the story goes like this – these were the original, yet unofficial Android mascots which were at some point dubbed “Dandroids.” While their internal history leaves them some fame, their lives were brief.

Google’s BugDroid has the Chance to be a LEGO Product, it Just Needs Your Support

A very creative person over at LEGO’s CUUSOO site, has posted a project that simply warms our hearts. Through the LEGO Digital Design site, GLHTurbo was able to order the parts needed, then create a strikingly awesome looking Bugdroid character. “I did some searching and couldn’t find any really good Android Lego builds so I decided to build one myself,” he explained on the project’s homepage.

New “Dark Knight Andy” Shirt Available, Superhero BugDroid is Go

Our friends in the t-shirt biz that created famous Android shirts such as “Andy vs. Apple” and “Exploded Andy,” have returned with their latest design that should fit the needs of both tech and comic gurus. Say hello to “Dark Knight Andy.” As you can see, it’s a take on the old retro Batman logo, but with our favorite green robot thrown in for good measure.

And for the record, the folks at Google refer to him as “BugDroid”, not “Andy.” Just in case you were wondering.
