Verizon’s Black Friday ad is out and includes a couple of decent deals. First, as you can see in the image above, Verizon and Motorola are releasing a special edition “cranberry” color for the original DROID RAZR. No, this is not the new RAZR HD, but the same RAZR that was released a year ago. As you may recall, they did something similar last year with the Incredible 2, so this could be a new trend from Big Red.

But speaking of the “cranberry” RAZR, it’s free, along with the Galaxy Nexus and LG Lucid (with a new 2-year contract). The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is $99, however, we thought Verizon had done away with contracts on tablets, so we are a big confused at this price. You will also find some decent accessory deals this Friday, including a Jambox for 50% off (after you buy a new phone).

Oh, the DROID DNA also made an appearance as it goes on sale Wednesday.

Rather than waiting for it to leak, Best Buy went ahead and posted up a preview of their Black Friday deals, this morning. There are 22 pages of deals in this preview, many of which involve Android devices. You’ll find tablets like the Transformer Pad for $279, original RAZR MAXX for free, Galaxy S3 on Sprint for $48, and the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 for $179. Beyond that, you’ll find TVs, appliances, tons of Windows 8 computers, and other media devices. It’s an intense Black Friday ad, so be sure to check it out.

Best Buy’s Black Friday Preview Lists RAZR MAXX for Free, Transformer Pad for $279 is a post from: Droid Life

Sam’s Club is now the owner of the “Best Black Friday Deal Award” for the time being. According to their Black Friday ad, they plan to sell the Samsung Galaxy S3 for 96 cents ($0.96) the day after Thanksgiving. Yes, if you are a part of the club, you can pick up the hottest phone of the year for less than a dollar, as long as you are down to sign a new 2-year contract. Talk about a steal.

They will also have the Galaxy Tab 2 7″ and 10″ tablets for $179 and $299, respectively.

More Black Friday ads have started to appear online, so as we promised yesterday while posting RadioShacks ad, we will try to point out all that have good Android deals. In the case of Staples and Kmart, there aren’t many, unless you want older tablets or ones that are made by some off-brand that you wouldn’t dare trust. 

Staples is posting up the Kindle Fire line of tablets on the front page of theirs, however, they aren’t necessarily discounting the tablets, but are offering up a $20 gift card should you buy one. You’ll also find what appear to be ancient Lenovo and Samsung 7″ tablets on the cheap.

Kmart probably isn’t worth visiting, unless you want to trust a brand called “Mach Speed Trio.” Yeah, they do have a no-contract Samsung phone available, but the rest of their Android deals are nothing to write home about.

In a little over two weeks, Black Friday will be upon us. Over the last couple of years, we have seen this day become flooded with deals on the latest and greatest in Android products, something that likely won’t change this year. In fact, RadioShack’s ad has already been posted for the world to see, and as expected, includes a number of Android smartphones at rock bottom prices. 

The most interesting of the bunch may be the Samsung Stratosphere 2, which has yet to receive an announcement or launch date publicly from Verizon. We have covered it plenty, but here we are two weeks out from Black Friday without an official statement. If RadioShack is expecting to sell it for free, giving you a $100 savings, the phone will likely debut at $99 on 2-year contract. We should point out that this is the only device with a physical slideout keyboard on Big Red that we have heard of in months.

Along with the Stratosphere 2, you’ll find the Galaxy S3 on Sprint and AT&T for $49 on new lines or $99 as an upgrade. The HTC One X and Galaxy S2 will be free, plus you will also receive a $10 coupon for every $50 you spend at The Shack.

RadioShack’s Black Friday Newspaper Ad Shows Up – Stratosphere 2, Galaxy S3, and One X on the Cheap is a post from: Droid Life

If you aren’t buying into a “Nexus delay” that we have talked about time and time again over the last week, maybe this will help. According to an ad campaign that is running across a variety of sites who are a part of the NetShelter ad network, the Galaxy Nexus should have already been available to the public and on-sale for Black Friday (today) at the low price of $199 on 2-year contract ($100 cheaper than the expected $299 price). So you know, Verizon runs almost all of their major marketing campaigns through NetShelter, so this isn’t just some random network putting out a Black Friday deal to grab attention. This was going to be one spicy deal.

But now, thanks to unconfirmed reasons, the phone won’t be available today. The latest date we have seen from Verizon is December 8. Will we be dancing in G-Nex juice come that day? We’ll just have to wait and see.

Update:  As some have requested, we should talk more about the significance of this price. Has Verizon seen the light and decided to offer their first 4G LTE Android 4.0 device at just $199? Maybe. Was this a Black Friday deal only? Maybe. Is this the 16GB version at $199 with the 32GB version still dropping in at $299? Could be a possibility too. There is no way to tell from this ad. Would be nice to see this price stick for good though, wouldn’t it?

The newest edition of the DROID Incredible 2 has hit VZW storage rooms in order to populate your hands on Black Friday. Did we mention that it will be free for that day only? We showed you the first renders of this device at the end of last week, but wanted to show you it in the flesh as well. It’s a spicy lookin’ Android handset that would be a must-have if it managed to house a dual-core processor and LTE radio into that body.
