If you are a guy and shop for clothes online, then there is a good chance you have heard of JackThreads. It is a members-only site that carries deals on street-wear and accessories from very well known brands that cater to today’s youth and their sense of fashion. The application was built by Fueled and with it, you are able to browse through all of their deals and basically have the entire site in a very well sorted out interface. To top it all off, if you find something you like you can buy and ship right from your device. Righteous.

by: | posted 01.19.12 | News

Motorola has been all over Twitter this morning, telling users that their “software upgrade news site will be updated soon with info on ICS upgrades for other devices.” By “other devices,” they mean the DROID X, DROID X2, DROID 2 and 3, Pro, etc. We already know that all of the new RAZRs and the Bionic will see Android 4.0, but the rest have been a mystery.

ProCapture’s Reduced Noise Feature Works Well With the Instant Shutter of the Galaxy Nexus

by: | posted 01.19.12 | Apps, News

The camera on the Galaxy Nexus is clearly not the best in the business. Sure, it can take instant photos that will wow your friends, but if they look like hell, what’s the point? Since many of us have been on the hunt for the best camera replacement, we wanted to suggest ProCapture that a reader recommended. ProCapture has this nifty “reduced noise” option that will snap two pictures and then mold them together to create a single shot. With normal cameras, this can be difficult due to shutter lag, but since the Nexus has zero shutter lag, it’s able to snap the two shots within a second or two. The results so far from our tests have been satisfactory.

Circuitry Live Wallpaper Turns Your Home Screen Into a Stylish Circuit Board

by: | posted 01.19.12 | Apps, News, Videos

A reader dropped Circuitry Live Wallpaper into our inbox just moments ago, and so far we are impressed. It has 6 color combinations available at this time, but it’s one of those apps we can see growing and allowing for full customization down the road. If you want your home screen to look like a matrixy-circuit board with style that changes each time you exit an app, I suggest grabbing this one.

If you have been looking to have Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s Sense on your device then be sure to check out these to builds that are said to be almost 100%. Nokia’s Stephen Elop is Clueless and Living in 2009, Still Talking Android Fragmentation

by: | posted 01.19.12 | News, Opinion

So this story from Pocket-Lint is floating around the web today that quotes Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop. Not that this should surprise anyone coming from the guy that is betting the bank on Windows Phone 7, but he of course referenced Android and this mythical fragmentation problem it has. He is quoted as saying that he doesn’t want fragmentation “being introduced” to Windows Phone because “we are” starting to see it “become a problem” in a “certain other eco-system.”  And time for a rant…
