Samsung Galaxy S4 Review
The Samsung Galaxy S4, aka the most anticipated smartphone of the year, is finally here. After showing itself at a questionably comical press event in NYC on March 14, many of us have been counting down the days to its arrival. There were so many new software features on display during the phone’s unveiling that only some serious time spent with the phone could allow us to digest even a sampling of what Samsung and the Galaxy S4 have to offer. But there are some serious questions that need to be answered with this phone as well. Is it a big enough jump from the Galaxy S3 to get anyone to upgrade? Is it better than the HTC One? Are all of these new software features gimmicks that no one will really ever use? Is the overall package enough of a jump to keep Samsung relevant?
We’ve had a review unit in hand for a week now, thanks to Samsung, and are more than ready to share as many answers to those questions as we can. Stick with us, it’s going to be a long ride.

This DashClock Extension Lets You Quickly Launch Sound Search, Shazam, or SoundHound
If you are at all like me, and find yourself using Google’s Sound Search on a regular basis in order to purchase new music that is playing while you are on the go, and you also love DashClock, then check out this new extension called “Sound Search for DaskClock.” Rather than having to rely on the official Sound Search app or set up a separate page for it outside of DashClock on his lock screen (since lock screen widgets only allow 1 per page), the developer of this app decided to include Sound Search in DashClock itself.
Facebook Home Now Available on Android for Select Devices
After updating the standard Facebook and Messenger apps this morning to prepare for the arrival of Facebook Home, Facebook has released the final piece to the puzzle. That’s right, Facebook Home is now available for select devices. If you own a Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, HTC One, One X, or One X+, feel free to grab the app from Google Play for free.
Everything.me Launcher Wants to Dynamically Change Phones Based on Location, Interests, and Mental State
What if your phone’s launcher dynamically changed based upon interests, your location, or topics you had in mind at a specific moment? A new launcher called Everything.me is attempting to do those things. The idea comes from the thought that your phone should always be changing to your needs, rather than remaining in a static state, with the same wallpapers or apps in exact same spots no matter where you are. The developers behind this launcher think your phone should move and shake as you move and shake.
Kickstarter for the Mini MicroSD Reader for Android Devices Looks Sweet
Having a separate and completely portable MicroSD card reader for your Android phone/tablet could be very beneficial given the right circumstances. On Kickstarter, there is a new project that is already fully funded almost four times over, for those exact unforeseeable circumstances. It is a tiny SD card reader that you insert into the MicroUSB slot of your device. You pop in the MicroSD card, then you have access to all of the files on said card. You may not need it all of the time, but you never know when having it could come in handy.
Pledges start at just $12 to receive a reader, which seems like a steal. To learn more about the project, follow the via below.

Thursday Poll: Going to Make Facebook Home Your Launcher of Choice?
So far, what I think is great on Facebook’s part is that they are not limiting this new experience to only those that buy an HTC First. Android users that currently own one of the five initially supported devices will be able to download Home from Google Play and immediately immerse themselves with status updates and pictures from friends. By taking this route, Facebook is truly trying to put this experience into the hands of as many people as possible. It may not seem that way yet, since the HTC First is an AT&T exclusive, but that was purely a business move.
With Home as your default launcher, you have the ability to access instant messages between friends no matter what you are doing on your device, look through your News Feed as soon as you unlock the device, and bookmark certain applications that you use more often than others. While Home does seem sort of like an extremely dignified widget, there are bound to be hundreds of thousands of users in no time at all.
Let us know down below if you plan on making Facebook’s Home your default launcher of choice. As a bonus, feel free to let us know why or why not in the comments section below. Personally, I am dying to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
