With the official Twitter application leaving us a bit lacking, the market for third party applications is ripe for the picking. A few weeks ago we first brought you to Boid, an application that adheres to the Android Design code and looks to have a lot of promise. What we now bring you is a sneak peek of the next big third-party Twitter application, Carbon for Android. It is impressive to say the least.

Facebook Dad. What a story this turned into. Everyone familiar with it? A guy named Tommy Jordan found a nasty little Facebook message that his 15 year old daughter had posted, which eventually led to him putting 8 bullet holes in her laptop. The message had to do with chores around their house, other teen drama, money and a whole other mess of silliness. It’s classic teenage me-against-the-world stuff. The video was called “Facebook Parenting: For the troubled teen” and instantly went viral. The video now stands at over 31 million views.

So Mr. Jordan has now taken to eBay to pawn off a bunch of his stuff to help charity and make some money on what is sure to be short-lived fame. One of his items was a DROID RAZR that he ended up selling for $5100. Yep, a $649 phone sold for over $5K. Again, part of that is going to charity, but damn that’s a lot of money for a regular ol’ 16GB RAZR.

If anyone is looking for a great music application that is feature rich, check out n7player. I enjoy giving my brain a little workout every now and then. The types of games that have a great story line along with puzzles and mysteries are my go to time wasters. Recently, a game I found that has everything I enjoy is The Lost City. From the makes of the Secret of Grisly Manor, which I also loved, is a game that makes their previous work look almost silly. The Lost City is large, challenging, and looks fantastic on any screen. 

There are tower defense games a plenty in the Play Store, but if you are looking for one with exceptional looks and gameplay, then you might want to check out Defense Zone. On each level you are given different weapons to help destroy the enemy forces and the game looks and sounds great while doing it. The game runs a hefty $3, but if you love tower defense and you appreciate a developer that took a lot of time create a good looking game, then check it out and let is know what you think down below.

In two days, Angry Birds will try to return to relevance with their newest body of work, Angry Birds Space. And that’s all we pretty much have to say about that.
