We know that Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23, but when will we be able to buy it? According to a report out of Korea, that should happen by mid-September.  News outlet etnews spoke with a wireless network representative who said that September 15 is the date for launch in South Korea.

Samsung has not yet confirmed the date.

OK, so what about in the US? I’d say the 15th is likely for here as well. Samsung has been doing big Friday launches for some time now and September 15 is on a Friday. It’s also just over 3 weeks out from the phone’s unveiling and matches up exactly to the timeline used to start selling the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. Samsung announced the S8 line on March 29 (a Wednesday) and then released it 3 weeks later on April 21 (a Friday).

To recap, the Galaxy Note 8 is thought to feature a 6.3-inch QHD Super AMOLED Infinity display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB storage with microSD slot, 3300mAh battery, IP68 water and dust resistance, dual 12MP rear cameras, 8MP front camera, fingerprint reader, and a new S Pen. It should be a beast, just like last year’s Note 7.

Again, the Galaxy Note 8 release date is likely set at September 15.
