Project Fi has launched a huge referral program for customers, one that could have you winning mounds of Google Play credit, Fi swag bags, or even a trip to the Google HQ in Mountain View.

The way it all works is pretty easy. On Fi, you get a code and if someone signs up for Fi using that code, you get the referral points. For 2 referrals, you get $20 in Play credit, plus a $40 Fi service credit. That’s already pretty great. For 5 referrals, you’ll receive a Fi weekender bag, plus $100 of Fi service credit. Again, that’s only 5 referrals, easily obtainable if you have a few friends.

Now, across the Fi community, there’s a referral leaderboard. At the end of this “Race to Google HQ” contest, which is September 25, 2017, the top 3 referrers will receive a paid trip to Google HQ in California, plus up to $2000 in Fi service credit. So, basically, a year or two of free Fi.

Here’s the breakdown.

Contest prizes include:

  • 2 referrals: $20 Google Play credit + standard $40 Fi credit
  • 5 referrals: Fi weekender bag + standard $100 Fi credit
  • Top 3 referrers: Trip to Google HQ in California + up to $2000 Fi credit

Google’s Project Fi team has a big FAQ on its website should you have any questions, but for that Google Play credit alone, I may be signing back up for Fi and throwing out a code here and there. That’s easy money.
