Zeiss and Nokia are back, people! Today, the two announced an exclusive joint partnership that “aims to set new imaging standards” for the smartphones you carry around each day. Well, assuming they are Nokia, then yeah, you’ll have some standard-setting goodness.

Specifically, the agreement is between HMD Global and Zeiss, with HMD being the company behind Nokia phones at the moment. But the partnership is one that reignites a relationship that kicked off more than a decade ago and could return fresh camera experiences.

Today’s announcement doesn’t specify which phones will feature Zeiss imaging experiences, but I’d imagine we’ll get news on that before long. Either way, Zeiss is back in the game and that’s a good thing.
