Robin from Nextbit, maybe better known as the one phone from Kickstarter that doesn’t suck, or is actually a real thing (see Saygus), is currently on sale via Amazon for $199. While the phone is nice, it seems not many people purchased it. That’s not overly surprising, though, considering how little Nextbit likely spent on marketing the device. Essentially, I see the phone as a proof of concept, with its cloud-based storage system and crowdfunded roots.

Regardless, the device is still a solid option, especially at this $199 price. Specs include a 5.2″ 1080p LCD display, 13MP rear-facing camera, dual front-facing speakers (nice!), 32GB of onboard storage, 100GB of cloud storage, and Snapdragon 808 processor. Thanks to updates, it’s also running Marshmallow, too.
