Many of you probably already own the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, since it has been out now for almost two full weeks. On the other hand, many of you may have just picked one up within the past couple of days or are planning to do so in the very near future. Either way, we want to help you get started on a path to a greater Note 7 experience. To do so, we’ve whipped up another “First 10 Things You Should Do” post featuring, you guessed it, the new Note from Samsung.

In this short tips and tricks style video, we’ll cover some of the basics, but generally point you in 10 specific directions that are worth venturing into shortly after the initial setup of your Note 7. We talk about getting into security upfront with the fingerprint reader and/or iris scanner, utilizing Always-on Display, tweaking the Edge panel so that it works for you, and of course, making the most out of the S Pen and its own set of features. Outside of that stuff, we’ll make sure you know about the Blue Light filter on the phone, setting-and-forgetting DND mode, and cleaning up your app drawer and home screen.

Look for that Galaxy Note 7 review soon. In the mean time, feel free to share any additional goodies that other Note 7 users should dive into.
