T-Mobile customer with travel plans for Europe this summer? Thanks to the Uncarrier’s new “Summer Unleashed” promo, your trip will now include unlimited high-speed data at no extra cost.
This morning, T-Mobile announced that all Simple Choice customers get “unlimited high-speed data across all of Europe” (except in Andorra), with speeds up to 4G LTE levels. That means no massive roaming bills or never-ending hunts for WiFi hotspots. As T-Mobile puts it, if you are traveling throughout Europe, “your phone just works = exactly like it should.”
The promo kicks off July 1 and ends August 31, so if your travel plans include dates in that range, send a little “Thanks” over to T-Mo.
In semi-related news, as a part of this “Summer Unleashed” deal, T-Mobile announced that for this weekend, everyone who flies on a plane equipped with Gogo internet service, gets an hour of free each way. And that includes those on AT&T and Verizon as well. T-Mobile has been working closely with Gogo for some time, so this is yet another way for them to show non-T-Mobile customers the added benefits of being a T-Mo customer.
This deal kicks off Friday, June 24, and ends Sunday, June 26 at 11PM ET.
