The OnePlus 3 is now official, available starting today for $399. For that price, buyers get a device featuring a 5.5″ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM, and much more. For anyone willing to try out the Loop VR experience, you can purchase the device starting right now, no invite required. If VR is not your thing, the phone will on sale via the web at 12PM PT (3PM ET).

Other specifications for the OnePlus 3 include a 16MP rear-facing camera, 8MP front-facing camera, fingerprint reader on the bottom chin, an Alert Slider, Dash Charge, as well as a 3,000mAh built-in battery. Dash Charge, OnePlus’ take on fast charging, gives a user 60% battery on only 30 minutes of charge. OnePlus also heard the cries of many, including NFC on the OnePlus 3, too.

Looking over the features, nothing quite stands out. Basically, the device features most of the high-end features an Android user would hope for. It has a well-sized camera, is running the latest publicly available Android OS, comes with a fingerprint reader and USB Type-C port, but nothing makes the OnePlus 3 really unique from what else is already available. The minimal, aluminum design looks good, but could be quite slippery in-hand. We will have to wait until we get our hands on a unit before making judgements like that, though.

For now, if you are interested in purchasing the device, follow the link below at 12PM PT. If you don’t want to wait, download the Loop VR app from Google Play and begin your order that way.
