AT&T Introduces Comcast-Like Triple Play for TV, Internet, Wireless

I’m sure you saw this coming, but AT&T, now that it has merged with DIRECTV and really, really, really, really wants you to subscribe to all the things (just boot up a G5 for the first time on AT&T), is offering up a “triple play” for its services, just like Comcast has been doing for years. The idea is that as you bundle (I shutter every time I hear that word now.) you begin to save money.

AT&T says that customers can save up to 40% on all services if they bundle into a triple play.  That means signing up for DIRECTV SELECT with a guaranteed $50 per month price for two years “when you add it to an eligible new or existing AT&T service, like wireless or home internet.” That price includes the equipment coverage as well, since that cost has been built into the price.
