Motorola’s brand new Moto E, the LTE version, which launched at the end of February as the best deal in smartphones, is now available from Verizon prepaid for just $99. That’s without a contract.

As a recap, the new Moto E 4G LTE sports a Qualcomm 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 4.5-inch qHD display, 2,390mAh battery, 5MP rear camera, VGA front camera, and Android 5.0 “Lollipop.” Again, you get all of that for $99. While this isn’t in flagship territory, it would make an outstanding first smartphone or as a placeholder while you wait for something like the Galaxy S6 to arrive.
