A much-needed update has been pushed out to Dropbox’s Carousel application, one which brings a toggle for the auto backup feature, a bulk delete settings, and Android L compatibility.

Before the update, users were unable to bulk delete images in the app’s gallery, which must have been quite the tiring process if you had multiple items to delete. Now, much like all regular gallery applications, users can select numerous pictures/videos, and delete all with a single press.

In addition, a auto backup of photos and videos from your phone is now optional, thank goodness. An app that doesn’t allow you to turn off such a feature would have me fuming, so if anyone here is using Carousel, you must be happy.

You can grab the update from Google Play by following the link below.

What’s New

  • Quickly hide or delete groups of photos and videos in your Carousel
  • Automatic backup of photos and videos is optional
  • Recipients don’t need Carousel to view shared photos and videos
  • Carousel works on Android L
