Deal: Brand New Nexus 10 16GB for $279 on eBay

neuxs 10 deal

The Nexus 10, Google’s 10-inch tablet that seems to have sold out forever ago through Google Play, can be had in brand new condition through eBay this weekend for $279. The tablet originally retailed for $399 with 16GB of storage, so you are looking at a substantial discount for a tablet that is still probably my favorite 10-inch slate of them all. Again – brand new, $279, 16GB of storage, and is a Nexus.

To refresh your memory, the Nexus 10 did its best to push boundaries when it was initially released. With its 10-inch high resolution display (2560×1600, 300ppi), Exynos 5 processor, 2GB RAM, 9,000mAh battery, and newest version of Android, it is still a force to be reckoned. Plus, who knows if we will ever see another 10-inch Nexus tablet from Google again, with rumors suggesting that the Nexus program is coming to a close this year.

The Nexus 10 deal includes free economy shipping.

Ha ha. Great deal indeed. I had a coworker synchronize his Nexus Tablet with his Mazda CX-9 and it was awesome – I didn’t know that today’s tablets could be so well-twined with car systems. Absolutely Excellent!

Best thing I ever did was sell that thing. Don’t miss it, moved on to a Qualcomm SoC and much happier.

  • Jprime

i think the shape of this tablet looks dated. Hate the rounded corners.

    Avery . I
can see what your saying… Paula `s blog is astonishing… last friday I got
a brand new Smart ForTwo after bringing in $5357 this last five weeks and
    over ten k this past-month . it’s certainly the best job I’ve ever done . I
actually started 10-months ago and pretty much immediately started to bring
in at least $83, per/hr . pop over here

It is too expensive. Yesterday i bought a more professional product on http://www.hdgenius.com. It is just $44.

This doesn’t have a micro SD slot right?

Awesome screen, but difficult to justify with only 16GBs, and probably only 12 available to the user.

    • hkklife

No. There hasn’t been a microSD slot on an official Nexus device since the Nexus One in 2010….or the Moto Xoom in 2011 if you want to consider that an unofficial Nexus device too.

I have a Xoom, there is an SD card slot on the Xoom.

needs to be quite a bit lower

  • hkklife

    Reasons to get it:
    -Nice build quality
-Still a nice screen (but no longer top of the line)
    -Its a Nexus
    -It has KK
    -FF speakers
-Solid price if you can live with 16GB storage

    Reasons to not get it:
-Obscenely long charging times & picky about cords/chargers
    -Underpowered Exynos SoC
-It just hit its 18-month anniversary and I have a feeling Google is about to jettison support for the N7 2012 and the N10
-Nexus 8 is just around the corner along with (hopefully) a few more GPE tablets.

Reasons to not get it: 2 years old

      • hkklife

True, but its also pretty telling about the sorry state of the midrange and high-end Android tablet market when a device that’s nearing 2 years old still holds up well against the latest slates from everyone not named Samsung.

        • JD

I agree, I love android phones, but after using many different tablets, the ipad air is still a better option in my opinion a big part being because of the exclusive tablet optimized apps.

I think Android tablets have a ways to go.

  • jb2468

Do you still prefer the Nexus over the Galaxy Tab S 10.5?

  • sagisarius

They’re still trying to get rid of these? I hope they learn from this that a product being out for 9 months before it shows up in stores is a total downer on sales.

    • hkklife

Yup, they ****** themselves mightily with the N10 launch and product life cycle. A total disaster from start to finish

  • cnlson

I love my 32gb Nexus 10. Viper audio mod raises the volume, and unlocking is something you want to do first since you have to wipe to do it. Plus first to every update is nice. I got a clearanced item so I paid $90 less for mine.

    • T_Dizzle

Mine still flies and I agree with you that one should unlock first. We have a newer iPad that collects dust most of the time because this tablet is so versatile.

  • flosserelli

I am tempted as a Father’s Day gift to myself, but my Xoom is still going strong on OmniROM 4.4.2….

  • http://thebeeobee.com/ thebeeobee

    Uhhhh 18 month support?

    • Cael

It was 18 months at least, not stops at 18 months.

  • Pootis Man

    Really tempting price.

    • Jarred Sutherland

Owned one, sent it back. IMO not a worthy tablet to drop that money on.

  • IzzleDizzle

    Such an enormous bezel….

    • Pootis Man

The device was released 2 years ago and the speakers are part of the bezels.

      • Maxim∑

so? the N7 2nd gen was announced a year ago, even bigger bezels

        • Pootis Man

It is inexpensive though isn’t it?

          • Maxim∑

fine, you win this time lol..

          • Pootis Man

            Haha. :)

    • Suman Gandham

Would you like some tablet with your bezel, s’ah?
