Deal: SanDisk Micro SD Cards 70% Off at Amazon, 64GB Card for $30

sandisk micro sd card

Amazon is hosting one of their most commonly seen deals today, one for SanDisk memory with prices slashed by as much as 70%. You will find Ultra (speeds up to 30MB/s)  micro SD cards with 32GB limits for as little as $14.99. They also have 64GB Ultra micro SD cards for $29.99. If you want similar amounts of storage but faster speeds, we are talking the Extreme line (speeds up to 45MB/s) which comes in 32GB and 64GB sizes as well, with prices running $20.99 and $44.99, respectively.

SanDisk did not include their 128GB micro SD card in the deal, so it will still run you $99.

Devices like the Galaxy S5, LG G3, and HTC One (M8) all supports micro SD storage.

Done and done… now, I wait.

  • Nick Bell

Just bought a GoBro. Time to stock up! Any advice on microSD to SD converters or a card reader?

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Only thing I really love having an SD card for is to Cache my Google Play/Spotify music. I don’t use it for much else anymore. Though I never buy a phone without at least 32GB.

  • Brian Aujero-Madolid

This w/ a Moto G LTE would be the ultimate combo in affordable phones.

  • Taylor Abrahamson

I have 3 SanDisc Ultra 64gb cards, and I’m selling them all. They are too slow! I just bought the Lexar 64gb 633x and they are FAST. Never buying another Sandisc.

    • hkklife

I’ve had bad luck in the past with 2 or 3 Lexar USB flash drives failing randomly on me. I haven’t had enough of their SD cards to judge, however. Why not get a Sandisk Extreme card?

      • Taylor Abrahamson

The Sandisc Extreme Pro is still slower than the new Lexar 633x cards.

Waiting for the 128GB to go on sale…will go nicely with the G3

  • Maxim∑

Just ordered a M8 perfect timing!

  • Justin Fosco

I’m probably gonna get a 64gb. Is the extreme worth the extra $15. I have the note 3

    • M3D1T8R

I have the non-extreme (class 10) and it’s pretty noticeable lag listing my 60GB of music (listed by Artist) when I load it up in Google Play Music on my Nexus 7 or DNA (using Meenova adapter). I have to sit and wait for a bit. If you’re not trying to load massive amounts at once, it’s probably fine. But if I had this Extreme option available when I got mine last year, for $45 I’d jump on it.

    • Taylor Abrahamson

Get a Lexar 633x. It’s worth it for the speed! I am done with Sandisc

  • M3D1T8R

$30 for that 64GB card is a crazy good deal. I got one for around $36 last black Friday, and for around $40 the previous year (2012) on these super sales. If you want one, this is the time to grab it.

    • Taylor Abrahamson

Not really anymore since they make cards that have waaaay faster transfer speeds. That’s why these cards are going so cheap now.

  • M3D1T8R

Hopefully the new Moto X has an SD slot, as well as the 64GB internal option they just unveiled. 192GB, yes please!

In response to the inevitable, “What in God’s name for?” comments, I have over 60GB of music, and adding full HD movies at around 5GB each can easily push over 100GB.

    • aQuickBit

Good lord that is a lot of content….

    • Jared Denman

I use show box for my movies

      • Big EZ

There’s no content in my Show Box anymore. Do you have an updated apk?

        • Jared Denman
          • Big EZ

Thanks, that’s a newer version, but still showing nothing. It may be my phone, Note 2 Verizon, but I know it’s not my connection.

Edit: it’s probably being blocked by Verizon. I’ll try a proxy server later.

          • Jared Denman

I don’t think its Verizon as I have a Verizon phone and it works perfectly fine on it. Try WiFi too.

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

I think you need a second device my friend.

    • Daistaar

yify torrents my friend. You’ll get Full HD at a fraction of the size. The days of 5gb movies are long gone lol.

      • TheOiulkj

So we have to pirate our movies if we don’t have an SD card slot? How exactly is that a step forward?

  • Tyrone Biggums

This would go perfect with my G3…oh wait.

    • JiGSaW525

Not following, doesn’t the G3 have a SD slot? Or are you saying you don’t have a G3 yet?

      • M3D1T8R

Does not. But AFAIK we haven’t seen final US specs yet, so it’s still a possibility.

        • bmos18

The g3 does have a SD card slot

        • JiGSaW525

Weird, the website says it “supports up to 128GB MicroSD” at http://www.lg.com/global/g3/index.html#specifications (but this is a global version) and even above states that “Devices like the Galaxy S5, LG G3, and HTC One (M8) all supports micro SD storage.”

Hopefully the US gets the same version with that option.

          • M3D1T8R

Yeah, I was wrong. Must have gotten it confused with something else. Well this is good news then!

      • Tyrone Biggums

        I don’t have a G3 YET. At least HTC did something right…

        • PoisonApple31

          Gotta love that dual camera.

        • Jeremy Gross

what did they do right over g3? that they released their phone earlier??

  • http://twitter.com/geoff5093 Geoff Johnson

And people wonder why we like having MicroSD slots in our phones…
