Deal: Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 for $399 on eBay

We mentioned yesterday that Android tablet deals pop-up on the daily and that you should almost never pay full price for one. If you needed any further proof of that tip, look no further than the current deal running for Samsung’s new Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 tablet through eBay. You can pick up Samsung’s latest flagship tablet – that would be the PRO line – for $399.

The tablet is “manufacturer refurbished,” but keep in mind that brand new Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 tablets originally retailed around the $650 mark

The Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 features a 12.2-inch Super Clear LCD display with a resolution of 2560×1600, 9500mAh battery, 3GB RAM, Exynos 5 Octa processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, USB 3.0, and Android 4.4 “Kit Kat.” It also includes all of Samsung’s proprietary multi-tasking and software tools. It does not include an S Pen, though, that would be an exclusive feature to the NotePRO.

We went hands-on with the massive tablet back at CES in January. Be sure to check that out to get a feel for the device.

Wow Already? Great Deal, I still hate samsung products, They Need to Fire their design team both hardware and software and ReFresh everything otherwise they are becoming the new apple.

HTC, LG and Google Are the Future, Moto Is not doing too hot, Samsung is becoming boring and apple well they just suck.

  • Samsung does not update their current line so this one will be obselete in a few months when they release something new. The value will plummet and it will be worth a fraction. Beware.

    • Dunban

Yeah, cause every time a company release a new line of products, they update your old device for free…
And you’re saying that they won’t update but will release something new????
      Never go Full Retarded 🙂

Bought one on this deal and the 10.1 note 2014 the same seller had last week, gonna test both and return the one I am not crazy about.

  • KleenDroid

I own this tablet. Very nice!

  • trwb

how about a deal on a non refurbished tablet

    • j

A lot of refurbs are simply open box returns that can’t be sold as new. Doesn’t necessarily mean it was returned for a problem and required refurbishing.

      • trwb

Yea but how does one know? Could be open box, could have been completely overhauled with refurbished parts.

        • j

you dont 🙂 but I’ve had good luck. Purchased several refurbished HT receivers, all looked brand new and functioning well for years. I did buy a refurb kindle fire for dirt cheap that I believe was refurbished.. screen had slight issues.

          • trwb

I have had 2 refurb phones that have died pretty quickly, so I am kind of iffy with refurb items.

  • j

Has anyone used this? How does it perform? Any UI Lag? ROOT access? I like the idea of a big ass tablet, and $400 isn’t too bad.

  • enigmaco

Woot is having a huge sale on galaxy notes factory refurbished though

    • j

You mean.. another weekly sale. Sammy tablets are always on woot.

      • enigmaco

Yeah but now it’s a big “tent” sale Ooooohhhh aaaahhhhh

  • T4rd

Can you ROM these things? If so, would be a pretty awesome tab with stockish Android on it. I would disable the capacitive buttons immediately and switch to software nav keys.

    • ddh819

you might lose the multi apps on a screen ability though

      • j

It can be done easily with ROOT access. Don’t know if that’s available though. Xposed framework will allow for pretty much anything.

        • mustbepbs

Yeah but the Xposed multi window doesn’t work nearly as well or as easily as Samsung’s multi window.

          I know, I tried it.

    • Chris

you could if there were ANY DEV SUPPORT AT ALL. Seriously though, I haven’t seen a single custom out there for it (the wifi version at least). **Hoping someone can point one out**

  • Ray

what happens when i turn this thing vertical. Now i have 3 buttons on the side of the device. No Samsung no

    • crazed_z06

This thing is way to tall to use vertically anyway lol. It’s Landscape for life on 16:9 tablets larger than 10 inches.

    • James Walker

It might actually be more intuitive with the buttons on the side because they are closer to your hands. Yes samsung.. yes.

    • schlanz

if you are holding this vertical, you’re doing it wrong
