Deal: Nexus 7 (2012) 32GB for $99 From eBay

nexus 7 deal

It might be two years old at this point, but eBay is running a flash sale on the original Nexus 7 (2012) with 32GB of storage for $99. The device is manufacturer refurbished, but as we have mentioned countless times, many believe that refurbishing a product gets rid of issues and actually makes a product better in some situations.

The device runs a Tegra 3 processor, has 1GB of RAM, and a 7-inch display. It also runs the newest version of Android, which is Kit Kat 4.4.2.

If you need a super cheap tablet that also carries the Nexus brand and stock Android, this isn’t a bad deal. The deal also includes free shipping.

I’ve put mine up on eBay as well. Mine isn’t refurbished and I’ve made it free shipping to compete with them. Check it out.

So the 32gig of storage is a refurb upgrade from the original?

  • WallBreaker

Nexus 8 confirmed. I would wait until July.

  • Jeffrey Fazal

Well, thanks for the update but I already have Nexus 7 (2013) that I purchased around 3 months ago along with wireless charger and the next gadget that I am looking for is Nexus silver series.

    • WallBreaker

      Nexus 8 in july.

For the kids? (if you have I guess) . . . not a bad price for a a good enough after almost 2 years tablet.

Asus refurbished? No thanks! In fact, no thanks to an Asus device ever again for me. Might as well offer no warranty.

    • T4rd

Yup, I have have pretty much sworn off Asus products after my horrible RMA experience with my TF300 tab and having to return it three times, paying $60 in shipping fees total and they wouldn’t even consider giving me a shipping label. That and the countless horror stories I’ve seen have trying to RMA their PC parts on my PC forum. I can’t support them in any way. It sucks too because they make can make great hardware sometimes.

      • Jarred Sutherland

I’ve not met a single person with a good story about Asus refurb. Back in the late 90’s I sent them a bad motherboard for repair, they sent it back with some pizza sauce spilled on it and with the same problem as before.

I remember when this tablet first came out and I said it was going to be trash because Asus made it. Then I got called a troll. Funny how everyone thinks it sucks now.

      • Jarred Sutherland

As much as people here hate to admit it, they are just as “sheeplike” as the folks in the Apple camp they love to ridicule. The fact Google choose Asus made them golden in the eyes of many.

        • Kevin

          I agree.

      • WallBreaker

Funny my n7 2013 was a beautiful device no issues. I did sell it though because the N8 is coming soon. Don’t believe the nexus dying rumors completely false.
