Deal: Nexus 5 32GB in White, Black, or Red for $394 With Free Shipping

This isn’t exactly the king of all deals, but if you were considering the Nexus 5 with 32GB of storage, eBay has it available in white, black or red for $394.99 plus free economy shipping. Google sells it for $399 with shipping that starts at $9.99 and goes up to $18.99. So again, not the biggest discount the world has ever seen, but it will save you $10-15.

The Nexus 5 was in our list of top 5 Android phones for 2013. If you happen to listen to the DL Show, you’ll know that both Tim and I are also missing the phone after taking a few weeks to review both the HTC One (M8) and Galaxy S5. It’s a great phone.

    It’s $449.99 now.

  • Jeffrey Fazal

    It is the
best phone I have ever had till date. Well after reading this planning to gift
one for my friend on her birthday along with wireless charger .

  • amy

    what Google play warranty?

  • MistaButters

Plus you get to save on tax

    • George264

I thought so to but tax is present here too. So the difference is 20$ for me and you don’t get warranty. I’ll buy from the Play Store.

      • MistaButters

Yeah for $20 I’d go through Play. Google RMA process is really quick and easy.

  • T4rd

    And it’s on Verizon now!

    Lol no.

  • silver_arrow

Also this doesn’t get you the Google Play warranty.

    • Aooga

This. People forget this a lot when buying Nexus phones.

      • mookie2

        What is “this”?

        • Aooga

You don’t get the Play Store support/warranty if you don’t buy it from them. GP support is MUCH better than LG’s support. GP will replace your phone overnight if there is a problem no questions asked. LG on the other hand…well…it’s LG.

    • WitnessG

The extra 10-20 is definitely worth buying from Google Play for that warranty.

    • Jared Denman

Just tell them u got it as a gift. That’s what I did and got it replaced when I was having GPS issues.

    • Jarom Bradshaw

Yep. Also I wouldn’t need a 32gb model. I barely fill my 16gb phone half way, all my stuff is in Google’s servers.

  • ItsTrue

Nexus 5 is by far the best phone out currently.

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Don’t say that to G2 owners.

    • PoisonApple31

It’s the best stock Android phone out currently, sure. It received the 2013 Bare Bones award.

    • T4rd

      *For the price

      • Daeshaun Griffiths

i’d throw an extra $50 on it and get a g2.

        • Jared Denman

No way. I’ve had both and would say the n5 is a lot better. The g2 was just too big for me, hated the back buttons, and I like the wireless charging on the n5.

          • Daeshaun Griffiths

I bet you need that wireless charger a couple times a day.

          • Jared Denman

I rarely charge my phone. Its been off the charger for about 5 he’s and only down 25%.

          • grumpyfuzz

that’s a bad assumption, I get great battery out of the n5.

          • jer85008

Agreed, I had a G2 for about 4 months before moving from Verizon to T-Mo and picking up a N5. The G2 was a tank and the back buttons were too small and stuck often. Screen was nice, but you could clearly see the digitizer with just a bit of glare. And the GPS was terrible. The only thing I miss is knock-on. Even the camera is pretty close between the two (N5 camera is very good now with the recent software updates).

          • Jared Denman

I did like knock on (when it worked).

    • Maxim∑

No it sucks. Doesn’t even have that snapdragon 801

    • flosserelli

Don’t tell Kellen and Team Moto X.

    • Jarom Bradshaw

Maybe not the best phone hardware wise, but is the best software experience on a phone.

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

I thought “deals” were meant to trigger that impulse buy button. Though I guess $10 all round is something

    • Matthew DiGiacomo

Actually with Tax and Shipping from Google Play you are looking at almost $440 for the Nexus 5 32 GB.
