Friday App Sales: Today Calendar, Assassin’s Creed Pirates, Riptide GP2, and More

Before we leave you for the weekend, we thought we would fix you all up with a ton of good deals on apps and games to play until Monday. This week’s list, after last week’s display of heavy modesty, is quite the extensive one, boasting great apps such as Today Calendar, Business Calendar Pro, Assassin’s Creed Pirates, Riptide GP2, ReNotify+, a few Disney apps, and a couple EA Games titles.

It was quite a week out in Google Play land, so make sure you don’t miss out on a good deal right below.

Have a great, app-filled weekend, all!

I love the concept of that AC game but cant buy it since its a “for pay” game with in app purchases. If you search its basically like any free online game where its fun for a bit but eventually you constantly have to buy upgrades and the game is built in a way where its impossible to get enough cash for those upgrades in a timely manner. So you buy a game and then quickly have to start paying to continue to play it.

Just a head’s up: Wave is a really nice and subtle live wallpaper that barely touches battery. However, it’s been nearly a year since my purchase and I have not seen a single update published by the developer.

Picked up Assassin’s Creed: Pirates and ReNotify+. Haven’t played AC: Pirates yet(heard it’s fun) but have used ReNotify+. This app is pretty useful. Basically, you can pin things, like reminders, to your notification list. Pretty nifty when you have an upcoming appointment and you don’t want to forget the date/time.

Was not a fan of AC Pirates at all. Got it regular price and played a few hours…had to uninstall as it got boring

Riptide GP2 is free on amazon

    • bionicwaffle

Riptide GP2 was free on the Amazon AppStore for about two weeks at least. Not only that but for some, if not all of that time, Amazon was giving you a $1 Amazon MP3 credit if you “bought” this game for free. Saturday, the 19th of April, was the last day of the deal. It was back to $2.99 on Sunday. I’m not sure exactly when it started.
