Vote for Your American Idol Right Through Google on the Desktop, Tablet, and Smartphone

If you still watch American Idol, you will be happy to hear that the show is moving into the 21st century, thanks to Google. During the show, you can use Google on your desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone to cast your vote once the temporary voting window for your favorite singers opens up.

When the time comes, open up Google on Chrome or any other browser, and then search “American Idol.” You will then be able to cast up to 50 votes for either one or multiple performers. It’s a pretty sweet process, especially for those who thinks texting to vote is so 2002.

The finalist performances begin tonight on Fox, so be sure to try it out.

So this is how they plan to get “record breaking” numbers of votes.

This is the second season Idol has had an app.

I never liked American Idol, Simon was a very rude and obnoxious punk.. I’d punch him if I had the chance. I never liked how he talked to people..

  • EnterTheNexus

Implying people still care for American Idol.

Can I keep my man card if I actively play the contact sport of roller derby & DVR ai ;DER

    • Tim242

Yes. Don’t let anybody take your man card.

  • Zach B.

Ok. Yeah. American Idol kinda sucks and all, but let’s forget about that for a moment. Out of the context of American Idol, this is pretty nifty, don’t y’all think?

  • Tim242

The show is obviously rigged. Last season, they eliminated every male contestant in the top 10, one right after the other. Then they eliminated Angie Miller, whom had never been in the bottom 3, in favor of two people that had. I gave it up after that.

Can we vote on who gets to be in a room alone with a pack of horny infected Haitian convicts?

  • Chewy789

The trend with American Idol is that there’s always a contestant that loses and is more successful than the actual winner. I think Kelly Clarkson of the 1st season was the only contestant I saw that actually won American Idol and still continued as a huge music star years after.

    • Tim242

Ummm not exactly. Carrie Underwood is by far the most successful winner.

The Voice > American Idol…….even without GN integration.

I am sure there are a lot of 12 year old and 67+ old tech enthusiasts that read this site on a daily basis.

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

How about they just give us an App….not that I watch AI anyway it’s gotten so bad.

  • Rand Paul 2016

I wish this show and others would end already.

    • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

Hey! When you say “Others” are you including The Voice? Better not be….better not be.

  • Matt Gondek

Can we vote to cancel American Idol?

    • The Narrator

It amazes how many good shows get canceled, yet this is still on TV

American Idol is apart of the downfall of western society.

American Idol gave Ryan Seacrest enough Money to start his production company which in turn started the Kardashians, And then the Seventh Seal was Broken

        • Steve B

How the Kardashians are still on air boggles the mind? They are the most uninteresting, egotistical group of people I’ve ever seen.
