The wait is over – the Galaxy S5 from Samsung is finally official. With its 5.1″ Full HD Display and 16MP camera, the question on everyone’s mind is, “when can I get one?” American carriers have been quick to announce availability for 2014’s most-hyped device, with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, and US Cellular all stating that the device will be available on their networks starting in April.

We are still waiting to hear Verizon officially announce availability, but they were included in Samsung’s global press release, so you can rest assured knowing that the Galaxy S5 will hit their network. Big Red tweeted out a sign up page that simply said “Coming Soon.”

Samsung announced that global availability of the device will begin on April 11, so we expect the US launch to be around that date. No carrier has stated pricing, but it might be safe to assume we are looking towards a price of either $199 or $249 on contract.

Show of hands – who here is buying one?
