VH1 Debuts Application for Android, Features Full Shows, Music Videos and Watching Companion

VH1 may have gone the way of MTV with less focus on music and music videos, but there are surely many fans of the network and its shows out there. If you are one of those diehard fans, you will be excited to hear that VH1 has launched its Android application that allows you to keep up on shows when you are away, and go deeper into the shows while you are watching them.ย

Android users are just now getting this application after it launched for iOS in October of last year. After signing in with your cable provider’s credentials, you can watch back logs of many of the network’s shows. In addition to live shows, VH1 plans on special content for app users, like the re-release of their movie “CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story.”

All of this content comes on top of the fact that the app doubles as a viewing companion, which makes your phone or tablet a second screen for information while the show is running on your TV. You can chat with friends, cast members and other people around the world from inside the app while you all enjoy the show together.

If you just could not have enough information onย Basketball Wives,ย hit the Google Play link below for your download.

That would be an app that tells how the band came together, their fights, who slept with the partner of someone else, a crisis or two, several going into rehab, and the promised reunion tour. But now that they’re all sober and getting along their music belongs in elevators.

What are these music videos you speak of? I thought MTV and VH1 was all about horrid reality shows that had trash looking for love in all the wrong places or having babies.
