Reminder: Moto X is $70 Off Until Valentine’s Day, $329.99 for 16GB and $379.99 for 32GB

Did you miss Motorola’s fire sale on the Moto X at $100 off yesterday? And did you miss our community giving away their unused codes? Well, don’t you worry, Motorola still has you covered. Starting yesterday and ending on Valentine’s Day, you can pick up a Moto X for $70 off through MotoMaker off contract, bringing the price to $329.99 for the 16GB model and $379.99 for the 32GB model.

This includes all of the different kinds of backs (including wood), as well as all of the other options Moto offers. You might even see an email today from Motorola that is offering a discount of buy one get one free on Soul headphones. Not a bad deal if you plan on picking one up for you and your lover.

To take advantage of the sweet savings, head on over to MotoMaker.

Cheers everyone who sent this in!

Extra code before it expires. Sorry I couldn’t use it myself.

VDayX-IW4A-IG24-YBPW-UV5F – expires tonight and hopefully someone can use it.

  • Richard Jackson

Here’s a $100 off promo code. I don’t need it anymore since Motorola is owned by a chinese company. VDayX-AB7R-TVL5-WSAG-SOPU expires Feb. 3

  • cback85

I still have a code to give away if anyone wants it?

        VDayX-DW5B-3A3V-W2CU-UG42 have fun!

  • Nikuliai

Just in case someone in Moto read this…

Please don’t force the buy with US cards and US phone number! had to get my Moto X on Amazon because I didn’t had a US card nor phone, let us worry on the how, you can keep shipping just on the US, but let us buy it and customize it from anywhere, I had a friend on the US some weeks ago and I wasn’t able to buy it from Moto Maker.

(besides a lot of us use boxes to mail it to our country ;P)

    C ya!

PS: give some Moto Maker love to the Dev Editions!

  • One Meat Ball

Don’t know why I sprang for the Developer’s edition. Seems like I might actually lose functionality by flashing Cyanogenmod 11. I doubt if I’ll use enough free tethering to pay for the added cost. Oh well, maybe it will become a collector’s item.

    • Wolfpack93

In addition to tethering, you can remove bloatware, disable ads and add apps like Greenify to extend battery life. As much as I would have liked a custom-designed Moto X, it was a no-brainer for me to stick with the developer edition. I may consider a TPU case for aftermarket customization since I’m not thrilled with the white back. And technically, the cost is the same as a non-developer Moto X with the same storage capacity.

      • Nikuliai

with the risk on being called an idiot, is the dev edition rooted by factory?

      Did you get a code?

Has anyone had the wood version long enough to determine how it’s going to wear over time? I hate cases, and have only used a case once. My GNEX has done fine for two years sans case. I would hate to cover the wood finish even with the clear case.

  • hyperbeatser

    wait, bogo sol headphones!? WANT

  • AbbyZFresh

Looks like Moto wants to clear off the current phone selection to begin on the next generation Moto X.

    • Blue Sun

Hold your horses there. Way too early for that rumor mill.

  • Ryan

be sure to send your valentine to Moto also.

    • Kanaga Deepan N

Hmmm… A better one will be, Be sure to get the Wood for the Valentine…

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

DAT WALNUT!,…. The bamboo looked nice. But I looked at a couple videos of the Walnut on YouTube… and it got me wayyyyy too excited.

    • MotoMan

Agreed, I like the bamboo too. Design was definitely at the forefront when they made the Moto X. As noted above, my new favorite Moto X site: http://randommoto.me/

      • michael arazan

I thought they are all Bamboo, just with different “finishes” (stains).

  • Pedro

I’m still going to wait until it has wireless charging.
But, so far, this is the only phone that might break me of my Nexus habit.

    • DJ

I wonder if the wood backing would affect wireless charging

      • Pedro

Near field, I would suspect that it would not.
Then again, maybe that’s why wireless charging wasn’t in the initial launch.

  • XvierX

    For you and your lovah…

  • Steveo

Extra code for someone to enjoy.

Only stipulation, reply with the motomaker combo you chose 🙂
