The Droid Life Show: CES 2014 Recap Special

ces 201

With CES pretty much all wrapped up, Kellen and I are now back in our offices, ready to reflect on this week’s festivities. With highlights belonging to NVIDIA, Samsung, Razer, and a few other electronics manufacturers, we wanted to lay down a special Droid Life Show, sharing our thoughts while they are still fresh on our minds.

Besides tech announcements, there are a ton of other things we wanted to talk and laugh about – Michael Bay got flustered and walked off stage, T-Mobile’s CEO got kicked out of an AT&T party, and HTC was showing off the One in 18K Gold. It was a busy week, so we will try to cover everything we can.

The show will begin at 12:30pm PST, 3:30pm EST. There will be a live video and chat embedded for you all to join us.

Interesting that Dave wore a ‘Scroogled’ T-shirt while broadcasting using Google+

  • Milind Shah

Although the z1 compact isn’t available for all carriers, it is what a few people wanted…a small screen but with high ends specs

  • dreadnatty08

Moto G is a POS?! Maybe you should give it a shot. SMH

  • Kevin

    I read this as 3:30 PST. :(

Asus transformer book duet 4 in 1 is my pick out of CES to replace my laptop and 10′ tablet. I travel for a living so having best of both worlds with laptop and tablet plus windows and android in one device will be great for me.

    • Kyle

I’m looking forward to that as well.

  • Maxim∑

probably the best CES picture I have seen so far…

  • John Legere

Looking forward to Vizios 4K TV, and the new 4K Lenovo laptop. Not much else announced that was worthwhile. Waiting for Google to announce their Nexus 10.

    • elcheapo

Yeah i’m sure a budget 4k from walmart, i mean vizio will be sweet.

      • John Legere

Yeah, a TV thats sold at Amazon, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, HHGregg, im sure it’s so terrible that it has great reviews at nearly all of them.

        Keep up the ignorance, bro

  • Philip J. Fry

This years CES was a disappointment. I guess everybody is wanting there own spotlight to show off what they got tho.

    • Kevin

And I expected nothing more just like last year and the year before that.

    • JBartcaps

The new Oculus Rift? Pebble Steel? $999 4K TV? Almost everything Sony showed? WebOS? Open Automotive Alliance? I think this was an awesome CES but that’s just my opinion!

      • Maxim∑

nothing special about pebble steel, same exact thing in a metal enclosure for 100$ more

      • Justin W

        T-Mo was my favorite, IMO.

    • Thomas

From a mobile standpoint…yes it was a let down.

      • Philip J. Fry

This is what I should’ve put. My bad.
