There are only so many hours left in 2013, so as the editor – or founder or whatever you want to call me – of this site, it feels only right that I get the last word in. And you know what, that last word isn’t going to be about all of the travels we took over the last 12 months, how many reviews we put out, how right or wrong we were throughout, or any other form of internet showboating. Don’t get me wrong, we love what we do and wouldn’t change it for the world, but the end of year isn’t about that. No sir, I only have one thing to say, which over the last four years has never changed. And that is…

Thank you.

Thank you, fabulous readers of this site. I don’t know if you are keeping track, but we really have been doing this for over four years now. This is what we do on a daily basis. And when I say “we,” I’m not talking about the Droid Life staff – I’m talking about you, you, you, and you – everyone who reads this site – plus the DL staff. We are a community; always have been. We are tech enthusiasts, smart asses, young pups, and old wise ones. We are like-minded and not-so-like-minded, sometimes-Apple-jabbing, Android aficionados. As a group, we are awesome, all of us, especially when we get together every day to talk tech.

The fact that we have been able to hangout together for this long, through this medium, and through so many amazing times, brings a smile to my face. So again, thank you, friends. Let’s do it again next year, and for many more years to come.

Please be safe tonight. We’ll see you in 2014.
