Deal: Office Depot has the Nexus 7 (2013) at $50 Off, Starting at $179 – 32GB Version for $229

nexus 7 office depot deal

We know that plenty of electronics retailers have the Nexus 7 (2013) on sale these days, but Office Depot currently has the best offer. The office supply store has slashed prices on both the 16GB and 32GB versions, but are also offering free next-day shipping. For $179 ($50 off), you can grab the 16GB version, and for $229 ($40 off) you can grab the 32GB version.

The deal is good both in stores and online, so if you have a nearby Office Depot, don’t be afraid to stop by a store or at least check availability. There is a limit of 1 per customer.

Update:  We’ve received word from at least one store that shows you can also receive a $20 Office Depot gift card upon purchase from today through December 14.

Cheers Scott, Hunter, and Ben!

I wasted too much time trying to find an office Depot with one of the 16s insstock. Finally realized staples would price match to 179 plus take a 10% off coupon code!

Do you think theyll honor it?

  • laheelahee

use code 76736981 for a free gift (16GB USB or stylus or battery)

dammit, if only they’d had it when Staples did, I’d have never gone thru the hell to get it from Staples. Never delivered it, had to haggle a store to give it to me for the same price. And that was after their delivery guys told me 3 days straight that it was on the truck.

  • DodgerDroid

Thank you Droid-Life. I just rushed out to get one. Got it for $179 plus the $20 gift card.

    • laheelahee

was there some kind of promotion/coupon or something for the $20 gift card?

  • Ej McCarty

So happy I snagged the nexus 7 2013 new for $80. When staples had that 50 off coupon I got the kid to price match walmarts nexus 7 2012 for 129 then added the coupon. So pumped

      • Ej McCarty

    • ehenry818

Well I thought I got the best deal. I got the 16gb 2013 Nexus 7 for 99.99 @ walmart. They had the price marked wrong and after escalating the issue, the assistant store manager called me and said they would give it to me for 99.99
      Go Me, But go EJ

    • Jabba

      brag much?

      • Ej McCarty

Well then I guess some douchebag is jealous

And I just picked one up at BB yesterday after DL told me that was a great price. ;)

    • Scott H

I’m going to stop by BB tonight with my receipt in hand (from yesterday) and try to get a price match. There just happens to be an Office Depot right across the street.

      • Scott H

I stopped at BB on my way home from work, and luckily had the receipt with me. I showed them the listing on the Office Depot website on my phone and they matched, no questions asked. And as an added bonus, I just looked at the receipt literally seconds ago and noticed they actually price matched to $174.99 instead of $179.99.

    • Aaron C

Yeah, I got mine yesterday at Amazon ($199). Luckily, shipping was free with Prime, so I’m sending it back. They’ll take $8 out for return shipping, but hey. $12 free lunch!

  • Bryan Saroza

Does this include the $35 Google play credit?

    • Ej McCarty

No. Just if you buy it from the play store. At least that’s what has been posted here a few times and I didn’t get one when I got mine from staples

  • Tay

Don’t know if the price is worth all the random reboots. Hmmmmmmm.

    • Ej McCarty

I’ve never had mine reboot once. I’ve had it for around a month now

    • Ian

Got mine at intro, never seen anything of the sort. Have you reached out to Google, they are very helpful?

      • Tay

I think I had it too long for them to do anything.

  • dannyWHITE

So I can get one GPE G Pad for $350 or TWO Nexus 7’s for $360….hmmmmm

    • Jeremy Gross

i would get a nexus 7 if it had a micro sd

      • Ej McCarty

I mean really 32 should be enough plus you could just do USB otg if you. Really need that much more space.
