Assassin’s Creed Pirates Ready to Sail December 5 for Tablets and Smartphones

This year’s edition of the Assassin’s Creed series takes place in the clear water of the Caribbean Sea, but why limit all the fun just to consoles? Ubisoft has been readying a mobile version of the game simply called Assassin’s Creed Pirates and the release is sooner than we thought. You can set sail on your tablet or phone starting the first week of December.

In Pirates, you won’t be jumping from the shadows and killing people like in the console Assassin’s Creed games. Instead, naval combat will be the focus and building your ship and crew will decide how you fair out on the ocean waters. You take control of Alonzo Batilla in his quest to rule the Caribbean, and while it might not be tied directly into the story of AC: Black Flag, you can expect there to be a few hints here and there to the console game.

Assassin’s Creed Pirates will be available for download on December 5 for $4.99.

Cheers Josh!

can’t say I’m impressed with this… was hoping for an actual ac game not a pirate boat game.

More Master and Commander than Assassin’s Creed

    Hopefully that means no IAP.

I love playing AC on my PS4 for those that also HAVE AC and the PS4 I recommend the companion app. You can control Kenways Fleet from it and free up new trade routes and do ship battles all while being on the clock at work.. It’s amazing

Only issue is the damn thing doesn’t work on 4.4 I was so excited about it until it didn’t work haha.

        I’m running KitKang 4.4 on my AT&T S4 and it’s working fine..

That is odd can’t download to my N5 tells me not compatible (assuming on a tablet app until you said that) and I downloaded to my N7 either crashed immediately or gave a black screen and then downloaded to my wife’s N7 (2012) and I got the same thing on her tablet. Both running 4.4…. There are a lot of 1 star reviews from 4.4 users as well. Did you do anything special?

I dont’ it’s compatible with Tablets because when I first tried to install it when I was on Pac-Rom my dpi was set to Phablet mode and it kept saying not compatible with my device then when I upgraded to 4.4 which is phone mode only right now I was able to download it so I realized the reason I couldn’t before was because the dpi settings..

Awesome, I didn’t know the companion app even existed! I will be downloading it. Also loving ACIV and the PS4.

I keep getting “connection impossible” when i try to log in to my account from ANY device. (working with customer support to find a fix). But when i am able to get on the console, toy boats (what I affectionately call Kenway’s Fleet) is awesome. I speed up my friends if they need as well.
Add me on uPlay, stetsonaw. PS3 users can add me as well, same username as uplay.
