To top it off, Ravensword: Shadowlands is on sale, which looks to be an extremely epic title for anyone who is down Medieval-looking titles.

FYI for those who are thinking of my backup pro, They charge you for storage and do not allow you to utilize your own storage capabilities. They give you a few hundred MB free, then charge ridiculous prices for storage to back up your information and data and apps. When I used it. it did not back up all my apps and data even though it said it did. I would not recommend it

Indeed. Which game are you going to be buying from that list? I think I might purchase Kingdom Rush Frontier as I really enjoyed the first game. Fun, fun, fun!

      • KleenDroid

I paid full price for Kingdom Rush Frontiers and certainly recommend it.

          As did I.

Would you call it a “real” game?

          • Franklin Ramsey

I’m not sure what you mean by “real”, but if you are asking if it is realistic, nope. Its a cartoonish mash up of snark and wit in a tower defense type game.

          • HarvesterX

Thanks for the reply! That’s helpful information as I had no clue what type of game it was and never looked in the PlayStore as I’ve been busy with my latest crop of games. What I meant by “real” though is.. Well let me give am example and it’ll probably come out clearer. I’d consider N.O.V.A. 3 a real game. Dead Trigger 1/2. Modern Combat series. Anomaly HD. Riptide 2, and a dozen others with fleshed out gameplay and not dependant on IAPs (any multiplier PvP game should not have any IAPs..). Anomaly HD would be what I’d consider a real Tower Defense game (well, except you’re the side attacking). Deprodundis: Requiem is what I’d call one if the best Diablo clones out there. Independent developer, no in app purchases. Free to play, but buying the game (which is cheap) unlocks all character classes. And it is indeed a Diablo clone. Dungeon Hunter 4 is horrible. IAPs out the ass, no multi-player mode unless on wifi (seems to be common among the company), great graphics though. Deprodundis: Requiem has greathgraphics as well but aren’t in your face like DH4. It doesn’t hold your hand (another factor of a real game). Isnt easy.. And has hardcore mode. Surprised it’s not more popular. If he added multi-player I’d be on it every day on hardcore mode PvPing. Order and Chaos is a real game in my mind but again the edge goes to those with money to burn.

I’m sure you understand where I’m going by now. If it’s anything like Anomaly, then yes I’d consider getting it (another awesome game..). The first Shadowgun was good too, well too many to list lol. A lot of the best ones aren’t ones mentioned a lot..

          • Franklin Ramsey

Well I have not played Anomaly, so I couldn’t say if it is like that. It is a lot like the first one, and there are IAPs available, but you don’t need them to complete the game. The main part of the game is fairly easy to beat until you get to the later levels, but you can change the difficulty level to higher levels of difficulty, and there are challenges to complete after you first beat a level, and those are much harder in my opinion.
