att logo

AT&T announced four new 4G LTE markets this morning, still on its quest to finish out the rollout nationwide. Just recently they surpassed 400 LTE markets here in America, with no signs of them slowing down yet. The new markets include two in Connecticut, one in Texas and the final one being Fargo, North Dakota.

New Markets:

  • Fargo, North Dakota
  • Willimantic, Connecticut
  • Torrington, Connecticut
  • Amarillo, Texas

Big week in Fargo. LTE and College Gameday?

    • Jordan Pfingsten

I know, right? This Bison fan and AT&T customer is partying hard!

    • Butters619

Biggest thing to happen since 1996.

      • Jordan Pfingsten

Nope. We’ve had other things occur here…

Like Back to Back National Championships.

Yes, for sure! Although I’ve been getting LTE for the past two weeks!

  • Chase Chick

Seriously thinking about a Nexus 5 and AIO wireless. But gotta wonder about the 8mbs download limit. Kellex when are you going to pop your sim into that and tell us all about it? From what I’ve been reading in forums Straight Talk is a nightmare.

    • Oh! Well, been using it for a week or so and it’s just fine. Limits are really at 8Mbps both up and down, but that’s actually plenty fast for most situations. Seems like solid service so far.

I just got a Straight Talk SIM yesterday, so I’ll give it for a spin as well.

      • Chase Chick

I don’t think 8mbs would be too bad. Especially 8mbs upload? That’s pretty good. That should be sufficient for video talk no?

        • Jordan Pfingsten

Plenty. Plus with LTE you’re going to have a low ping.

      • Bill Anderson

An AIO vs Straight Talk article would be much appreciated (and vs. T-Mobile if you can swing it). Need to figure out the est option when Ditch Verizon Day happens on Dec. 15!

        • thedonxr

Should call it Ditch Verizon DAy just so it can be DVDA 😉

          • middlehead

            Ditch Verizon Day, America

      • middlehead

Are you planning to hit your monthly cap and see what AIO throttles to? That’s the only thing I care about that I haven’t seen confirmed.

  • Jordan Pfingsten

Between this and ESPN College Gameday coming to town, I am a happy Bison today!!

Note: When does the LTE network allow access to the GoPhone plans?

  • Chippah

I can knock a hundred dollars off that Trucoat….
