Amazon Gold Box has 32GB and 64GB SanDisk microSD Cards for 60% Off Today, Flash Drives Too

sandisk 64gb

For the industry as a whole, it’s unfortunate that Samsung has become the lone Android OEM to continue to include microSD card slots in its phones, especially when you see deals like today’s through Amazon Gold Box. But since so many of you actually own Samsung’s latest and greatest devices, you probably couldn’t care less about the competition. And with that, we present to you the most recent 60% off SanDisk flash storage sale.

In today’s listing (Amazon does these every couple of months, in case you were wondering), you can pick up SanDisk 32GB or 64GB Class 10, UHS-1 microSD cards for $19.99 and $41.99, respectively. Amazon claims that these are 71% and 58% discounts. If you don’t need another microSD card, you may want to look into a simple flash drive as well, especially if you get down with the OTG game. Today’s deal has the extra tiny and packable Cruzer Fit 16GB ($10.49) and 32GB ($18.49) flash drive, along with the standard size 32GB ($17.49) and 64GB ($31.99) Cruzer.

You’ll find regular SD cards as well.

I have a 64gb card in my S4 I have 1300 pics on my phone, 10gbs of music, a couple gigs of apks, couple gigs of OBB files, etc etc etc and I only have about 18gb left. I need a 128gb card..

    • Jeremy Gross

      and no movies/tv shows….

  • jt O’Brien

Not buying unless it has an SD card slot

FYI Best Buy has the same deal. I just walked into a store and purchased a 32GB card for 19.99!

I’m a little nervous with buying 1 cause I heard of high failure rates amongst the 64gb version & I was victim to a 32gb not working. I got a replacement better built for my gs3 as it was a lack in build quality. Now not to sure I should just jump to get the 64gb model

    • evltwn

I bought one of these last year and have used it in 3 different phones with no problems. RAZR MAXX HD, Galaxy Note 2, and now my S4.

      • Eddie J Camacho

Cool I might just give it a shot, cause I love watching movies, ebooks, & cbr comics

    • Philip A. Kaiser

Killed two of them when removing without dismounting first. Just food for thought.

      • Eddie J Camacho

I’m not that reckless I’m a techy nerd to know better but thanks

        • Philip A. Kaiser

Totally with you and always dismount but we sometimes grow complacent. I had copied all the content to the PC and yanked one. Wasn’t worried about data loss but never thought it would destroy the card. I was wrong. The second was plugged into a phone while powered on. It never showed up. Powered down, removed it and plugged into a PC. It was dead. Touchy little bastards. Lol

  • bigdav1178

Best Buy also has these SD cards for the same price right now, if you want one in hand today. I picked up a 32GB over my lunch break.

  • Raven

Wish I could get one for my Nexus 7.

  • Michael Hammond

Careful with these! SANdisk has been having to replace bad batches. I bought a 64gb card and had to have it replaced 3 times because of shoddy production of the card …. I’m going all out and saving for another brand because I don’t trust this replacement….

    • Stoker

FWIW, I had the 64gb card (same as the unit in the picture) fail on me just a couple days back, as well and another one previously. Not statistically significant but enough for me to switch brands.

I have a 32gb iPhone 5 (work) and a HTC One (personal) and I never have a storage issue with either. I carry around about 4 gigs of music in each with 3 or 4 movies in 720 or higher quality and maybe keep 200+ pictures I take. I think for most people, even geeks/nerds, it’s the THOUGHT of almost running that scares on a daily basis rather than the reality that you do.

    • Mitch Joa

32gb is a lot different than the almost standard 16gb. I run through 16gb pretty darn quickly.

      • Jeremy Gross

        thats just my music

    • j

Some people take and store lots of pictures.. way more than 200. And lots of local music.. way more than 4gb.
Personally I use Google Music and don’t take many pics so internal storage is fine for me.

      • Rob Delaney

I think if someone has more than 200 pics even inside one day (other than someone on vacation) needs to get in a better habit of off loading and storing. With my HTC One I have a tasker script and sync with my iphone every sunday night.

    • Stoker

My ASUS TF700 has a 64gb uSD, 32gb internal, and 32gb SD (via the dock) and I could use some space… So, I guess it’s just as well manufacturers don’t just ask one dude what he thinks and just pull the trigger when deciding what sizes to make for storage options.

      • Rob Delaney

Well I am glad more OEM’s are moving away from microSD and they don’t listen to someone like you who has issues on deciding what is essential to have with you and what isn’t. E-Hoarder much?

  • evltwn

Last week the 64GB was listed at 46 bucks.

    • Justin W

Was $50 yesterday. Almost nothing is “full retail” on Amazon, so when they do these 50-60% off sales, it’s really only around 10-20%. That’s not to say they don’t have some damn good sales though – I’ve seen things go for hundreds less than they were in previous days.

    • T4rd

      For the SD or MicroSD?

      • evltwn

        For the micro

  • Steve B

How is this going to work with my new Nexus 5 come November?

    • Mitch Joa

It won’t unless you get some OTG magic.

      • Steve B

It was a joke Capt Serious.

        • Mitch Joa

I just can’t tell anymore without ‘/s’ at the end, it’s a sad day :(

    • Sirx

Blue an NFC chip to the back of your SD card. Then glue THAT catastrophe to the back of your new Nexus 5!

Sometimes you gotta McGuyver that sh*t…

      • “Guest”

        *Glue. Son of a damnstick!!!

      • michael arazan

Unfortunately, I McGruber’d my sh$t and it exploded

  • ijKs

Just bought a 64GB one for my S4 like a week ago :(

    • Mike

      Same here ha

    • DanSan

if im not mistaken i think amazon has a price match policy if the price goes down within x amount of days

      • Philip A. Kaiser

Or return and buy a new one. Back up to PC first.

  • chris420o
