Need some new apps to get you through the week? Yeah, that’s what we thought. If you go look on Google Play, you can find the below-listed apps on sale for a limited time. There are some games such as Amazing Breaker and an SNES emulator app, plus regular productivity apps like Locus Map Pro and an app for fly fishing fans. You know, to help you maximize your time while wading in waist-high water.

Monday Sales:

Go support some developers.

  • Andrew Lima

Fixed my “Package File is invalid” by signing out of my Google account and signing back in. Hopefully it works for any of you as well.

  • Stephen Cox

Um… what happened to the Play Store banning all the emulators? Did that change?

  • Joachim De Groot

    the fast updates!

  • T4rd

Anyone know if that Animeonline SNES emulator works with USB/BT controllers (like a PS3 controller)? I don’t see it mentioned in the description.

  • wh1te_mag1c

Picked up Rom Toolbox Pro and DropSync. I got them because they are both very popular, but I still can’t figure out how DropSync might come in so useful for me. I end up downloading whatever I need through Dropbox whenever I need a certain file(s) and constant syncing seems like it may drain the battery a little too much.

    • El_Big_CHRIS

i swear this option only worked once for me. I synced my backup thru dropbox.box/drive, and i couldnt restore anything on both my GNex and SGS3. total failure :(

  • SA_NYC

Anyone know what Locus Map offers over Google?

    • SA_NYC

Hmm, just looked at their website and think I answered my own question: specialty seems to be worldwide downloadable maps.

What’s up with all the error messages lately when trying to download or update apps?

    • Senor de los Cielos

Version 4.3.10 of Google Play has had some issues.

      • michael arazan

Can’t get VPlayer to update, uninstalled and now it won’t install just gives some obscure error message

  • Smeckle

So…whatever happened with Rollercoaster Tycoon for Android?

    • EvanTheGamer

Funny, just posted about that an hour ago.

I’m honestly wondering the same thing. Last year sometime in 2012 Atari made an official announcement stating that they’re going to be working on a few Android games, RollerCoaster Tycoon included, which would then be released first quarter of 2013. Guess that never happened, so…maybe first quarter of 2014 now.

      • hkklife

I’m assuming it’s due to Atari’s continuously precarious financial position. A shame, as they are sitting on top of a load of IP that could really be resurrected and find new life on mobiles.

The puzzle game “Amazing Breaker” is AMAZINGLY fun! $.99 is CHEAP for such a FUN game! Buy it.

    • moelsen8

You sound like a spam email with those caps :P

      • EvanTheGamer

Hardy har har, very funny, funny guy!

But in all seriousness, definitely fork over the $.99 and buy Amazing Breaker because it is simply AMAZINGLY FUN!

Sh*t, I did it again. Damnit.
