    Worst airliner there is

Can’t disagree. I will pay out of pocket to upgrade to another airline when my company ‘suggests’ I fly them.

omg i flew with them once. never again. delayed flights and missed flights due to delayed flights. When asked about the delays and missed flights i was told “i wasn’t entitled to compensation.” ahhhhhhhhhhh

Well, try living in a US Airways hub city. We don’t stand a chance here in Philly. Its USairways or higher prices and stops on another airline. Southwest gave them some competition for a while but now they cost more too. We just suck it up here.

So for us, them finally getting an app out there is pretty significant news.

I think you mean Crashes Onto Google Play.

Personally I think “Lands On Google Play” would fit better

I almost went somewhere else with this, but caught myself…

No offense, DL, but slow news day?

    • NexusPhan69

I was hoping they would pick up on the rumors that the Moto X is shipping to carriers today. I’ve always felt like DL does a good job verifying before posting so I can’t trust it until DL posts something!

      • RAZR_FANN

Hah, I agree. I also expected some Moto X news.

  • Muddy B00ts

This is weird considering they’re merging with AA, and will cease to fly under the “US Airways” name.

    • US Airways’ customer service is so awful retaining the name would damage the combined brands.

      • David Parrella

I have five family members that have worked for US Airways, three still do, and I can tell you that it’s purely because American is the larger airline. Not only is it cheaper to repaint and retrofit the US Airways planes, but American has the newer fleet. Might as well polish up the older ones, eh?

        • zurginator

American is repainting all their planes anyways, they rebranded themselves.

          • David Parrella

Right, but redoing the interior of a plane is still a thousand times more expensive than repainting it.

          • zurginator

I believe they’re changing that too. Quite the project from what I’ve read.

          • David Parrella

The new 78’s and Busses came out of the factory with the new interiors

  • No Holo

    • = it’s probably a wrapper for a HTML5/web app and is total garbage. See the Bing Android app and the Amazon App Store app for nightmare examples of this.
