Note 10.1

In need of a 10″ tablet, but don’t feel like spending too much dough? Woot! is offering up a Galaxy Note 10.1 from Samsung for just $299.99, although keep in mind it is refurbished. The Note 10.1 can be purchased in either grey or white (sexy), features Android 4.1, 16GB of internal storage, a 5MP back-facing camera, quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and a 7,000 mAh battery.

If you’re interested, go check it out.

Cheers Mike!

I bought it, one of the best deal of my entire life. It looks new to me, you can’t tell it’s been refurbished, extremely powerful, it’s killing my ipad, exception made for the display, the retina display is superior.

    I could use one.

Still can’t find a compelling reason to invest in a tablet….no matter the price.

They’re a niche thing. I find them sort of useful, but with phones getting bigger, they’re losing that in between niche they had. Had a few back when phones had smaller screens, but with the Note 2 and DNA, I haven’t had much use for one. Not a big fan of 10″ tablets (major sacrifice in portability, uncomfortable to hold for extended periods of time,) and with a 5-5.5″ phone, the 7″ tablets don’t make much sense.

Since we are talking Samsung – I enter a calender entry on my SIII , it does not update the desktop version of google calender. I looking in >settings and the following message is there… says for the Sync Calender in >Sync Settings the following message: “Sync is currently experiencing problems. It will be back shortly.”

It has been down since 6/3. Anyone else experiencing this on Samsung? What is going on. Please help. Dont want to keep two calenders going.

Try uninstalling Google under >Settings > Accounts> Google. Then reinstall.

Also check your Samsung Sync account and remove/reinstall.

Possibly if my Note 10.1 and your SIII are related in the same issue, I recently got a notification in my S Calendar that says anything I put in the S Calendar will not be synced with the Google Calendar. I opted to download Google Calendar and use that to stay synced. If you are already using Google Calendar, I’m sorry for I’m not sure what is wrong with your sync :/

Mary sure your selecting your gmail calendar in Samsung calendar app to view. And when your entering your event make sure its going in under that account and not the stock Samsung calendar.

Woot is no longer a site for good deals….more of an Amazon extension for selling their unwanted stuffs at ok prices (good if you compare to best buy’s endeavors like cowboom)

  • Good_Ole_Pinocchio

That thing really isn’t worth $300 right now.

Why is that? There are a few tablets with better specs on the market now. Its got a quad core processor, 2 GB of ram, and a decent screen. Sure there are better tablets around the corner, but for this price I think it is a great deal for right now, especially if you plan on using the S-Pen.

      • JoshGroff

Agreed, if I was in the market for another tablet, I’d consider grabbing one, and $300 is pretty good considering I was just looking at used ones in the $400 range out of curiosity the other day.
