dl logo show2

It’s time for the Droid Life Show episode 26! On tonight’s broadcast, we have a number of noteworthy topics to cover, most notably the news out of D11 surrounding Motorola and the X Phone. CEO Dennis Woodside admitted to the world that they are indeed working on the Moto X and that it, along with a handful of other phones will be out between now and October.

Outside of Moto X talk, we want to talk about the new Gmail, Google Edition smartphones, Android 4.3, Samsung’s June 20 event in London, and more.

The show kicks off around 6:00PM Pacific (9:00PM Eastern). A live video broadcast and chat are embedded below.

Did Tim groan at the mention of Zelda? Fail! Zelda games are still being made and are still amazing. Sonic…not so much.

AOSP 100% functional, with source, from the manufacturer?

Why wouldn’t we want it? Less work for everyone else trying to get a ROM working on it.

(Most benefit being for those who have a Manufacturer stock device and want an AOSP experience…the ROM exists from Manufacturer and any hardware fixes can be added for CM/AOKP users)

I dream of the day where an app can 1 click root your phone, give you a list of roms comparable for that phone, 1 click install after picking it, and automatically restore all apps and data back. All from an app without researching and plugging in to your pc. Also a way of speeding up the process somehow
