Eufloria for Android, a Relaxing Strategy Game Full of Beauty

While skimming Google Play, I happened upon Eufloria. I have seen it before, but the game is currently on sale for $4.99 which struck my eye. It is usually above $5, so I happened to give it a try this time. Needless to say, this game is gorgeous. It is a bit slow at first, reminding me a lot of Auralux, but once you get deeper into the game, it picks up quite nicely.

You control little seedlings and the goal is to simply grow your colony. What puts it over the top in my book is the use of light colors and soft lines. The game is fun to play and you can easily get lost playing it for a while. You will be happy to know there is a demo available for those that are hesitant about dropping a Lincoln on a mobile game though. Try it out and let us know what you think.

  • Take a look at http://www.strategyandroidgames.com. There is a nice list of strategy games there.

  • Ill never unstand why people try to sell apps/games for such a high price.

    Sell 100 games at $5 a piece or 5000 at $1 a piece….hmmm (just an example)

Strange world where people think $5 is a high price for a high quality game that you will spend hours playing

  • Reminds me a LOT of Auralux, except a bit more complicated to play.

i also got this game from the humble bundle and loved it. unfortunately, in the later stages with lots of stuff going on the Nexus 7 (my main gaming device) chugs a little, but it was still very playable.

Downloaded this a few months ago. Very cool game especially with the brightness turned all the way up and headphones plugged in. It immerses you into this weird world. I’m not sure why I stopped playing. It gets a little monotonous at times so maybe I should just revisit it.

I got it when it was 2.99 was certainly polished and worth the $. 5 bucks is pushing. But it is a good time waster and fun game.

Packages of independent games that you get to name your own price for. They started out with desktop games, but have had several bundles of Android games as well.

Humble Bundle is a website that bundles up a bunch of games and sells them for a what ever you want to pay price. They had a few android packs while ago and a bunch of PC game packs. http://www.humblebundle.com
