Especially when in another 2 months it’ll be free with a contract right before EOL, but still the same price full retail till they remove it.

I sold my OG Razr MaXX and on 4.0 I was getting about 16 hours with 4 hours on screen at the end. I’m sure it’s not an epidemic, but I’ve seen others when I was researching issues.

I’ve yet to see a difference on the razr maxx battery life whether on 2.3, 4, or 4.1 stock Verizon ota. Not sure where u heard that

Only the og droid was good. So far the rest of the series has been crap imho. They ruined what should have been the best phones of the droid line, the droid itself. Of course they should have gotten rid of the keyboard after the first droid and made the droid x the second droid. The top of the line phones shouldn’t have keyboards since they don’t sell well

I don’t know enough about OS programming, but the original Razr MaXX lost a ton of battery life with the bump from 2.3 to 4.0. And I’ve heard several people mention slightly lower battery life on the MaXX series going from ICS to JB. Much less now than the original line.

Yeah, I noticed, the RAZR HD was a bit of a let down with a dual core S4 and 1GB of RAM, granted it’s still not a slouch, but not the top of the line phone it should’ve been.

I just figured so because they’ll be the last with a launched device with any of these: Quad Core, 5″ range display, 1080p, 4.2 OS. Granted, their specs are plenty adequate for nearly everybody, but they are definitely on the down swing of being innovators lately.

If it does come down, it’ll be another few months or even year. You’ll see them drop at times just before Verizon kills them off, which won’t be for a while.

Best bet is to grab one off swappa or ebay. There are people that just sell their upgrade phones and you can get them for a decent price.

Didn’t they say they were cutting down? Also, I’m surprised rumors of the Droid 5 aren’t circulating yet., assuming they’re continuing that series that is.
