I don’t know how iPhone user’s can look at that tiny screen? My Galaxy Nexus already seems small. I hope that it has gorilla glass so I won’t have to worry about scratches.

I am talking about myself, a 6’4″ person with large hands. If i can’t reach it, there are very few that can. The note is a two handed device, plain and simple.

if u want to be able to operate a phone with one hand, theres lots of other size options that samsung offers to the masses. remember, theres millions of athletes/non athletes with huge hands that had to deal with 3.5″ to 4.3″ inch smartphones…and im pretty sure these people are glad to see bigger smartphones…if not for you, atleast let them big hands people enjoy those 5 inch and above options.

also, im sure pro atheletes with humangus hands would love these bigger smartphones…for me, i dont care much if a smartphone is too big or too small, because i will aways get one that feels comfortable to me regardless of size…I DONT NEED TO HEAR SOMEONE CRY ABOUT THIS BEING TOO BIG OR THAT BEING TOO SMALL, ETC…

no, the footprint of the note 2 is as big as I’m comfortable with. With a true edge to edge display 6.25″ would fit on the same sized device.

I’ve had my note 2 since release and loved it, but I might bail for whatever technowizardry motorola drops on us with this Xphone.

I wasn’t sold on the flip cover until I got one and realized that when you hold the phone in your right hand, you have a finger between back of phone and flip cover, then rest of fingers on back of flip cover. It gives your thumb access to the full screen, easily. Without the flip cover, gripping the phone takes up so much hand room that it’s difficult to reach anything on the right side of the screen with your thumb, when holding in your right hand.
Give it a shot if you haven’t, never expected the flip cover would make the phone significantly more usable, but it sure does.

My touch-screen Kenwood DNX9990HD head unit in my car has all sorts of variable display buttons on screen. It also has a fixed row of hardware buttons on the bottom. They’re indispensable. They’re always in the same place, always there when I need them. Fixed hardware buttons have their place, even on phones.

Leave my home button alone, thanks. It is wonderful on the Note 2, as are the fixed back and menu buttons. Not everyone wants on-screen buttons. Get over it.

it will actually probably run the new core the octa core
