I hope it doesn’t, but with Google controlling Moto’s every move how can it possibly suck? Google can now do exactly what they want with the hardware, no compromises. I have the feeling it’s going to be a nice looking device (due to Moto’s excellent build quality) and the software is going to be perfect on it, it’s going to fit like a glove. Not to mention it’s going to have beast-like hardware which we’ve never really seen in a Nexus, since it’s always about the latest software and not the best available hardware.

For one that is the SGS3 Mini, which is a mid range cheap phone. Not the SGS3, which is what we were talking about. For two, when you compare them in real life they are nowhere near the same size and shape.

You're kidding right? I'll be the first to admit the the original Galaxy S was an iPhone 3G clone, but saying the SGS3 looks like the iPhone shows you are blind, dumb, or a fanboy. The shape, size, materials, screen type, aspect ratio, bezel size, etx look nothing alike.

This phone will retail for $900 US in Korea where it will be for sale first, I don’t see that price encouraging anybody to buy it here in the US

Samsung is not the “creators of this category”. To be the creators of any “category”, they’d have to be first, and they were far from it. Look no further than the Dell Streak 5 for that title. The FIRST Android powered smartphone with a 5 inch screen, a whole year before the original Galaxy Note. You can’t even get basic facts right.

You’ve stated you have 80 GB on your Note 2. Assuming that each “movie” (and by movie we’re talking some 90 minute or more video that’s been on the silver screen) is even 500 Mb (which would make it highly compressed and extremely poor quality (not even 720p)), and you do have 240 of them, you’d have 117 GB of “movies”.
So you see, with just a little bit of simple math, it’s quite easy to know that you’re lying and pulling all these numbers out of your ass. Why don’t you take a screenshot of the Storage screen within Settings and try proving me wrong? If you can.

Let’s be serious LG is behind the curb on this. My Galaxy Note 2 720p amoled Hd device has a 3100mAh battery and it is industry leading. Now your gonna try to tell me that a 5.5 inch 1080p screen will last on a 3140mAh battery??. Especially since Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 3 with a far better 1080p full amoled Hd screen at 6.3 inches and 4200mAh battery. Who do you think rules this space definitely ain’t Lg.

At least the Galaxy Note 2 has capabilities for 64gb sdxc sd card while that Lg Optimus G pro only can have r he standard 32gb sdcard. My Galaxy Note 2 has 80gb of storage and i have over 240 movies on my device and some 70 some odd videos and still have 40gb of storage left. My internal storage has 117 applications and have over 5gb of storage left out of that 16. Samsung is doing well in this space that’s for sure.

The Exynos quadcore 4412 is very exceptional clocked at 1.6ghz and the battery life is industry leading on the Galaxy Note 2. Let’s keep this in mind folks everyone is copying and trying like hell to catch up to Samsung. Samsung are the industry leaders and the creators of this category they have nothing to prove Samsung is android plain and simple not Lg.

Bottom line here the current Galaxy Note 2 is on a level on it’s own. It’s the best ultimate all purpose productivity device ever made period. The Lg Optimus G pro is nothing more than a big smartphone it will never compare to the software and features solution of the Galaxy Note 2. Samsung created this space they are the leaders here and have nothing to worry about. After all people are trying to copy and catch up to Samsung.
